Break

a tea break. I got this Twinings brand called Prince of Wales. It's a light combo of black teas. it's pretty smooth actually, there's no bitter aftertaste, yet. *grins* Actually, since I've been coming back and forth to the computer, this is the perfect tea for a wedge of lemon. or a lump of sugar, just to give it a bit of a taste of something else, not that the tea is bad, it's GOOD. I can just imagine it with the undertaste of lemon. Mmm MMMM Good.

Anyway, list of stuff.

- I am WITHOUT afternoon/evening pain for the first time in a week. Yay!

- I've done a 3/4 good job on cleaning the kitchen. Hell, at least most of the gunk is off the stove. I need steel wool for the rest of it. I wasn't about to scrub the thing when the rest of the kitchen was calling. Honestly, it's another room that needs a good scrubbing. I don't understand it, it's not like it gets USED at all! Sheesh. Anyway, I can tolerate the cooking surfaces now. We need to get rid of the PILE of cups, I need to talk to the Unit about that.

- I did a half assed job on the bathroom *grins* The main point of ick - the toilet - is done and you could almost eat off it/in it. The shower needs work, again, I don't understand how it gets that nasty. AND I don't know how my mother tolerates it! You'd think all BOYS lived here, seriously.

- The clutter is seriously getting to me. Honestly, I AM rearranging my room. I have to. I can't fathom keeping it this way, although I REALLY want my bed to stay in the same place. Maybe if I pulled it away from the wall a bit. *sigh* Of course, it's BAD Feng Shui, as currently, I sleep with my back to the door, the new setup has me facing the door (I sleep on my right side. The current bed setup has my back to the door, the new one has the bed next to the door on the opposite wall, away from the wall, so my face faces the door. Actually, is THAT good? I thought it was, to face the door and allow flow. Hmmmmm.)
*another break while I went off on the Internet, finding nothing helpful at Feng Shuo sites *sighs**

- I'd love to continue tonight, but I'm sweaty in a bad way, and I just don't feel like it. Let's hope noone shows up and tried to sit on my dishes, which is on a chair in the living room. I still need to get to the storage unit, but I can do it tomorrow. Marc IS coming over, whether he likes it or not. I'm rearranging this room, if I have to kill him to do it! Let's hope I'm not needed elsewhere, because I have too much to do.

- I went shopping tonight, even tho I wasn't hungry, in fact I felt a bit crappy thanks to iffy McDonalds. Seriously, I think I'm done' with McD's burgers, they just don't do it for me anymore. I bought a baby green bagged salad, and put Parmesan cheese and pickles in it (Hey I have what I have, sur me) It was pretty damn spiffy. I got some ice cream and little cupcakes, to satisfy the sweet tooth that's rearing it's evil head for the first time in two weeks. Hey, I've been miserable. Let me have some mini cupcakes! *grins*

- I haven't mentioned the job yet. Can I say SUCK! SIX hours! Mostly of me sitting around waiting for THEM to help me, even tho I TOLD them I needed them available. Oh we have meetings, we're off to lunch (TWO AND A HALF HOURS!) One of them was making a photocopy for me and LEFT, so I couldn't ask her for any more. She left the check on the copier for Gawd's sake. they're VERY disorganized, and I'm feeling the strain. Not everything is done and they're saying "It's fine." Well it's NOT fine for me. THEN I say I can't come in next week "WHAT??! WHAT do you MEAN???" Did I stutter? What do you care, I'm in for two hours and you're so ADD you can't settle long enough to answer a simple question so I sit around doing NOTHING!

ARGH!
*ahem*
I hate ADD clients. Or maybe, I'm just spoiled. I have one client where everything is in folders. The bills are in one folder, the backup in another. The invoices are in their own folder, and I have a pattern I follow, for business and her personal stuff. I LOVE her. I'm going to grieve when she sells her business. hey, if anyone is looking to buy a business, she's a small editor/publisher who edits school workbooks. It's boring, but lucrative. (now if only she wasn't Batty! She's great, but Strange, and this is MY level of strange!)

Anyway. I think I'm ready to not be sitting here anymore. I need to move my car, straighten up a bit, and think about going to bed. I will NOT get up early tomorrow - woe to thee who wakes me, except I can't shut my phone off in case I'm needed. Bleh.
*pouts* I wanna sleep and when I wake up it's all clean. where are MY five gay guys to do this for me, and take me shopping and buy me Ferrigamo pumps. *pouts*

Maybe I should cut out the tea *grins* It makes me maudlin.
I know - Chocolate! Wheeee!

yeah cleaning... I understand

There is this ORANGE stuff that is 100% organic and made of oranges .. I think its called oxyclean that does such a GREAT job cleaning greasy stoves!!

as for you room that is BAD feng shui. If you face away from the door you will have a VERY uncomfortable sleep, especially when drifting off to sleep because unconsciously you will be thinking of being vunerable to attack. WHen I had a clutter problem what I did was drill in floor to ceiling SHELVES in three of my four walls. Of course I had no room for paintings but all the floor clutter such as, books, CD's Records, magazines, beauty products, even shoes went on the shelves making the room seem more spacious.
