Postus interruptus
Aug. 4th, 2003 12:10 pmThe backspace key on my computer suddenly doesn't work. Nor does (end) and probably (home) This is uber sudden, like it was working, then it wasn't. I've uninstalled, and reinstalled.
Me thinks it's a virus. Is there anything else it COULD be?
I need my backspace key! Sometimes it actually types an equals instead of doing nothing.
Thank you, drive through. (I'm so late, I'm off to work and I'll have to fix this later. I think I need to put a new keyboard on this tho, or FINALLY get Norton's up and running again permanently.)

Date: 2003-08-04 09:15 am (UTC)I've been having issues with Norton's, as in it's not working probperly due to my updgrade to WinXP (Also a known problem, related to my prior version and the upgrade) I have to go through all these hoops to get it up and running, since they never sent me all the info I need. I guess my night shal be spent jumping hoops *sighs*
Thanks tho!

Date: 2003-08-04 09:57 am (UTC)Numlock is ALWAYS on, and it doesn't affect my (end)key. (I always use the keypad, so I have Numlock set to on upon bootup.)
Plus, this is sudden onset, as in I was using backspace, then I wasn't. And for a bit, I was pressing (shift) to cap a letter, and it typed a capital D. For no reason.
I'm going to smack Norton's around later on tonight. I'm fairly certain I have SOMETHING, you know?
