- Call to Unit, re: Check from CPA #1. Arrival status: Confirmed
(This was after getting plesantly surprised by call from CPA #1, whom I thought left on Vacation today. She leaves tomorrow. Got principle confirmation of mailing of check.)
- Immediate turn to computer, to book hotel room at favored hotel at cheap prince. Status: Confirmed. AND prepaid. OK, sucky, yes, BUT, I'm also guaranteed a late arrival, so I don't have to call the hotel. AND I shouldn't have to pay for parking, since I'm going to try and manouver street parking. AND, it's prepaid, so I don't need to worry about saving myself enough money for the bill on Sunday. (yes, I see this is a pro AND a con, I'm a chick and a Leo, get over it!)
- Plans for work schedule change AND trip plans. Status: Falling into place. Change to schedule confirmed, I have the hotel, and the confirm of my companion. AND I just need directions and refreshing on the route from Providence and I'm good to go.
- Additional room on the credit card for incidentals. Status: Pending. I need to 1) cash paycheck 2) deposit cash tomorrow 3) wait for it to clear and 4) setup payment. I'm going to TRIPLE check regarding availability of cash, then I'm going to setup the payment to my credit card. I need to be OK, since I'm probably going to hit the $10 mark on my new Fast Lane transponder and if they can't recharge it, that would suck.

staralfurinn tonight before leaving for MR, I didn't want to bother her at work. Emails to be sent to my nice new NYC friends daathphi and angelsil to see if there's any hangout time to be had. Need to go through my box o'papers to find Mr. Ed-the-sexy-Brooklyn-boy-Rivethead's phone number and email to poke HIM about a hangout (but he works at Freaks, like, all the time, so that won't be hard *grins*) And the best part - although andelucien wants to hang out, he has other stuff to do, leaving me free to wander as I please, which, after the Montreal retarded collective mentallity, will be nice. OH and reconnect with elvendoll regarding connecting for dinner.
Can we say Stompy Boot Shopping! I knew we could! Plus, I'm on the hunt for Ayashi No Ceres DVDs, and the InuYasha Soundtracks.
Arrival is scheduled for around 11PM Friday night. There's something going on that M wants to go to, so I need to get that confirmed, then it's shopping and food galore. I want noodles, and burgers and LOVERLY Vegan Dim Sum. OH and SUSHI!
And - total tanget - It's NICE to come into an office and be LOVED. The high boss loves me, my minion loves me (I leave her alone, but take the problems off her hands) Human Resources loves me. And I just got to tell one of the support staff that we're looking at promoting her into my staff (to theoretically be my replacement) and she was TOTALLY thrilled. I LIKE being the harbringer of good stuff (Wait, that sounds somewhat dirty!)
Right, I now have lots of stuff to do before leaving and I REALLY HOPE the big boss's minion is still here.
On the agenda for tonight - free entree into MR, putting up with stupid people who will make crap up in their LJ's afterwards, getting home WAY too late and somehow fitting mailing out two returns and packing (LIGHTLY) in there somwhere.
At least I can have a drinkie! I'm going to KISS my boss for mailing my check!
