but my feet hurt.
I've been working off the calluses, and decided to wear the Franch sandals to Bret's thing. I walked too much, and now I think I have a blister UNDERNEATH what remains of the callus on my left foot. *sighs* My right is faring little better, since it had to take all the pressure of walking. I just don't think these sandals are for any kind of walking activity, including working. it's too bad, they ARE comfortable, but they just put pressure on the most wrong parts of my feet.

I rushed home from the Cape, getting home about 6:15, and I wanted to be at the station at 6:30. No shower, and I'm lucky I got a chance to change (I averted a fashion crisis, barely) I sat down and picked out a book to read on the train, and started calculating how much money I'd need to get into town. When I realized that between tokens and parking at Quincy Adams, I was around $10, I thought "Duh, I can park downtown for that much!" So I ended up driving into 222 Berkeley and parking. yay for no train! Boo for having to walk all the way to the ICA, and giving myself blisters. Poop.

Bret's show was - interesting. *grins* He has this warped "Simpson's" style sense of humor. the big skit was "The Karate Kid" in play format, and Daniel-San's nickname was "the Big Pussy" AND they did a Benny Hill Chase scene, complete with music. The only thing I didn't like was the musical performances. The guy was talented, but I really don't like "feel good" music, with audience participation. Oh, and Eeyore shook his "thang" in my face. I only wish I'd had a dollar in my hand for the lapdance *grins*

I'm going to not say anything more until I've had a chance to peruse other LJ's. There's something else I might say later.

So now I'm home, and craving Peking Ravioli. I'm going to get some, thank the gods for credit cards, I actually can't afford to eat right now without them. I'm thinking about stopping into the office quickly and seeing if my check is there. That will make all the bad thins go away. *kicks loanee of money and how I now have to struggle, even if it's just for another day or two.*

Right, time to find the nice comfy soft shoes and slip them on. And run out for food and money. I'm missing a party, but I can't be too worried, and besides, I don't think my feet can handle it.
