Yargh, I say!
So I FINALLY get here, and get to downloading (after a super delicious chicken sub, I LOVE this place down here!) and it doesn't seem to do any good. So I check online help, and. lo and behold, there's only a partial update. The thing my boss needs to have updated - available lat July.
So, yes, Viriginia, I wasted a trip *grins* But you know, I'm not al that upset about it. I got my yummy lunch, a loverly cup of iced Hazelnut (I love Coffee!) with cream and sugar, AND I got the hell outta the house, after the Unit came TEARING in, all pissed off because her paper was stolen, AGAIN. I'm totally disgusted with her. Yes, I said HER. This is an ONGOING problem in our building. If she wants the paper so badly she should BUY IT on her way home, she passes through South Station AND Quincy Adams. Personally, I think paying for a paper that's not being deluvered is stupid. We're not changing anyone who lives there, so MAYBE she should just take steps to make sure she gets what SHE wants and eff everyone else?
So she's screaming at me, and my nephew, who is all upset and saying "Don't make her anrgier Auntie, she can beat the crap outta you!" To which I replied "Well, 1, no she can't, 2, she has no right ot yell at you or I for something we DIDN'T do, and 3, NO she CAN'T, I'm bigger than she is (And younger *evil grin*)." His answer "Well she's older!" I said "That doesn't make her automatically right." I must have gotten through to her, becuase she did calm down. I told her she's bipolar, and I think she needs meds. She just swings hot and cold too much. It may be the menopause (she's been in the stages for a couple of years now) and if THIS is what I have to look forward to, I say GIVE ME THE DRUGS NOW! *shudder* Something is up, tho, she just gets way too angry too fast. She's resentful and bitchy, but refuses to do anything proactively to change things.
Anyway, I'm going to finish some client stuff, and get the hell outta here. I should make it home in time for a nice cool shower, and run to the bank for some extra (and last *meep*)money, and then off to town. Sheesh, I haven't walked around the Copley area in a whole buncha years. *sigh* Maybe I'll beep CB before I leave, see where he is.
