Never hear from Glass place.
Unit arrives, takes me over to glass place.
Car is sitting out front (different spot, good sign)
I go in, there's a Pile of people waiting, and the Unit refuses to leave til I'm "all set."
I'd told her "it's either done and I'm all set or it's not done and I'm taking it anyway."
It was all set. In fact, I COULD Have had it at 2PM *grumble*

But I have it now, nice clean windshield. With a tinted part at the top.
Huh?
My old window didn't have that.
Oops. I told them I DID have this. I don't like it.
But I'll have to get used to it.

So - it went smoothly. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Now - Haven or not to Haven.....

i'm getting my new windshield tomorrow, but i'm having it done in the parking lot at work.

Yeah, I'd thought about that.
I figured this would be "easier"
An addendum to this - last night (At 2AM) I leave Haven and find I have a voice mail, but the phone doesn't indicate who it was. I thought it was some sort of emergency, so I panicked and checked.

It was the glass place, at 1:30, telling me I could pick my car up after 2. My phone never rang, never told me I had a messgae, until 2AM. I'm starting to worry about this thing.

Have fun with it - if it rains they'll have to reschedule.
Mine's pretty - except for the gabillion bug carcasses that committed suicide on the way to Haven. *grumble*
