The well-trained-support-monkey walked me through a bunch of things this time, and ends up concluding there is something wrong with the modem itself, since I had the correct connection (complete with dongle, Thanks![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
bunicula and endless_spirit) from computer to modem, the router to be set up later, and everything and it's mother was lit up. BUT when he tested kazama HE actually sent the packets and did a full test) he had 100% packet loss on it's way to me. So things are wokring on my end, things are working on his, but ne'er the twain were meeting.
I get to get up early ON MY FIRKIN day off, to let ion a tech to check out the modem. Muther Effer, it I hadn't EXPECTED this, I'd be pissed.
So I'm off to bed, I'm suddenly uber tired, I have a LOT to do tomorrow.
