Tired, restless, and bored
May. 19th, 2003 12:10 pmSeriously. I rush here, then I sit on my big ole duff, and don't feel like I accomplish anything. I left early on Friday to SIT in traffic, but at least I got stuff done, and managed to see people, and be confused by yet another anime.
Saturday was aborted work. I'm just too distracted. the rush off to ,lj user="scorched_angel">'s birthday "mob" to coin a phrase, and I had a much better time than anticipated. It just proves how much I need some down time.
Sunday was surreal, and full of driving. I woke up about NINE AM, immediately said "Eff this" and went back to sleep, til about noon. Woke up and lazed around, thought about getting dressed, then got a call from
poetman which put me back about an hour. Didn't leave for Worcester til about 3, when I was supposed to be there. but I didn't want to be TOO early, since there was family and stuff, I didn't want to intrude. I get there, go around back to Lou's mom's BEAUTIFUL garden, and kinda wait, to be noticed. I think Lou thought I was someone else, since he saw me out of the corner of his eye (Cat like reflexes my ASS *grins*) then took about five seconds to actually LOOK and realize it was me.
*sigh* he's so cute, he and his dad were both wearing Ranger battalion t-shirts, it was like Ranger central with all the stuff.
Seriously, tho, I'd like to remind the peanut gallery that HE WANTED me there, and no amount of "GO AWAY, you're not welcome" vibes, or pouting, or sulking was going to do any good. I strained my good behaviour to it's limit. I'm very glad Howie needed to be picked up, it gave me a breather, and a much needed rant. I'm sorry, it's very hard to be civil when someone is sulking because I was invited. I really like his mom and dad, I should make more of an effort to visit with her.
I'm very tired, I'm not sure why, although I did do a lot of driving, and eating, enough to upset my tummy at 4AM. I barely remember stumbling to the bathroom, but I think that more had to do with the large glass of water I had right before bedtime.
Today is hopefully Revolutions, so I can finally read some spoilers, with Lou and Howie and CB (I kinda invited L & H along, but if CB doesn't like it, he can either NOT come, or say something. He's just my friend, it's not a date (repeat indefinately)) and then Ceremony, more for Lou than anything else. I'm hoping he's off to Rites of Spring, depending on a couple of phone calls being made in his behalf. I REALLY hope he's able to go, although he won't be at ManRay on Wednesday if he does. He NEEDS this, more than I need to see him. So he's hoping to get some dancing in tonight, obviously. Although I doubt we'll get there in time to see LostBoy from 9-10. I think what I'd like to do is see the movie in Randolph, I'll go home and get changed, Lou will take Howie home, or head to the club, and I'll follow once I'm ready. I didn't feel up to picking out outfits last minute.
And, of course, Howie forgot his phone in my car, so I can't even call them. I hope they remember to call me, buttheads.
It really is great to see him, all healthy, despite the weirdness of last night, which even HE sensed, I'm glad he was understanding.
OK, off to pretend work.

I noticed after I installed XP that it was finding a disabled card, so I need to pull the computer apart to double check (since I need to get in there anyway to check the modem manufacturer so I can fix the stupid #*&^$(*#& modem problem.)
BTW- Have you actually communicated with

Next time, I'll probably have a Ranger with me who responds to "Hey, Lou.. *points*....KILL." *evil grin*
Although, I hope this doesn't stop me from flitching the cable I need *grins* I'd like to come by before thursday, but I almost forgot part of my network is WIRELESS *DUH!*

Date: 2003-05-19 11:12 am (UTC)Yup, still alive. :)
BTW, I sent her a quick note saying you referenced me to her. You probably would want to follow that up with a reference if you like. I totally expect a lot of people to have other plans so whomever shows will be more than I thought would.
Coming by before Thursday is fine. I have the stuff at the house in the normal "waiting for Tia" area. Anytime after 5 to miss SWMNBN works.
