Stupid revelations
Mar. 13th, 2003 11:35 amThe time I go to bed directly correlates to the time I get up.
Yes, this is decidedly OBVIOUS
But I know that others can go to bed at fucked up hours, and still get up on time.
Recently, I've been going to sleep at 1:30, after InuYasha.
And waking up by nine. At the latest, I've been maybe waking up earlier but not by much.
So last night, I went to bed at 3AM. Got out of ManRay at one, had to dally on the way to the parking garage since I was being escorted *schmoopy grin*, then there was the driving home of the Howie, and the conversations ensuing. I got home just after 2. I needed to eat something (hmmm, beef burritos *drools*) I read email, posted to livejournal. Decided to shower this morning, took out contacts, removed makeup and crawled into bed just before 3. Watched the end of Lexx (back to season two, thank the GODS. *drools* Sexy dead Kai.) surfed just a bit more, bummed out that my taping of Inuyasha didn't happen (I'd set my VCR to tape during Angel, but I was here for it, so when I turned off the TV, it just kept taping the WB, for HOURS, it's creepy. I SERIOUSLY need that TIVO. I'm tired of missing my shows, dammit.)
So that pushes my wakeup time to 10AM, well just before, enough to flip channels and watch the end of Charmed. To see the first episode. *SOBS* No More Rose McGowan for a couple of months while they roll through the seasons. Damn.
So, if I want to start getting up at 7, or at least 8, I need to be in bed at midnight.
NOT conductive to my schedule, but something I think needs to be done. I dunno how to adjust my schedule, getting home at 10 isn't good for going to bed two hours later, then there's my ManRay excursions. I won't give those up. Again, I give up everything else for this, I work super late the other days of the week for this.
So, the tail end of this is that I'm an hour later getting up than I'd like to be. I need to take a deposit to the bank, and I REALLY should go to BJ's before work, to get more supplies for the next month, and a movie for Katie for her birthday, where I need to drop by on Friday. *sigh* I just want to get up at a reasonable time, but I don't want to change my schedule that much. I'd settle for waking at 7, drifting about til 8 then getting up. That would change everything.
CB goes to Haven on a regular basis. *evil grin* I'm definitely going after the season ends, looks like I'm going to run the gauntlet after all, so I need to find a Friday Goth night in NYC (I'm assuming the thing I hear about in the Pyramid is still on.) Wheee.
OK, now I'm REALLY late, and I'm doing my errands THEN going to work.
I get more upset about Lou every time I think about it. I'm emailing his mother, and asking about if there's ANY address I can write to, in case he can get them.

What do you suggest? Should I just pop out to Best Buy and get one? I can't really do it til my April check anyway. *shrug* I'm just very tired of this VCR, it just doesn't work the way it's supposed to.
I don't want you to worry about it, and I really am too busy to worry about it too. I'll get to it, eventually.

Date: 2003-03-13 09:54 am (UTC)Oh, and Howie and I were in discussions about sushi last night, and how I need some. *LOL*
We were talking about going to a place called Saki on Route 1, you possibly interested? Sometime next week, or the week after, maybe a Thursday night.
Anyway, it's off to spend more money *LOL*
Saki NO
Date: 2003-03-13 10:09 am (UTC)I would be interested in sushi, just not there. We were talking about it at work because it had been a while since our last sushi lunch. The jones is on again. :)
Re: Saki NO
Date: 2003-03-13 02:24 pm (UTC)I was thinking that _I_ have found the good places.
With the exception of one on Route 9, I've been nowhere awful.
There's a new place in Quincy Center I want to try, maybe we can go there. Sometime in two weeks -- I just got dealt yet AGAIN at this client. So I'm totally Stop & Shop-ing my sushi for a while *grumble*
I'll be in touch as soon as I get the Jones enough to go. *sigh*
