Yes, precious. Precious Cheesecake. Hmmmmm.

I get to go back tomorrow. Into Hell, and I have to get up earlier than I did today. I'm going to let myself watch G Gundam, on at 12:00 midnight, then it's SO off to bed. (or rather, I'll watch it FROM bed.) I've totally gotten sucked into this. Again, something I'd like to watch all the way through. But, there's a box set of Yu-YU Hakusho coming out soon, so that'll satisfy my need to watch stuff. And where is my Suzaku box, neh?

People - whadda think - a Fushigi Yugi weekend at Griffin Grove? It's only about 52 half hour eps, about 24 hours *giggles* I'll have Seriyu by the end of February. I know YOU'D be in on it *lol*

Off to cheesecake.

I went to the family party of my oldest friend the other night, and they have a habit of pawning off extra food and desserts on those who stay too late. Normally I wouldn't argue, but this was one of those _expensive_ cheesecakes, and I came home with more than half of it. I felt bad, and the dad got up, took it, and shoved it into my hands saying "We do not WANT it, take it home or it's going out." How could I let that happen to a helpless cheesecake?

It's pretty good too. Rich and creamy. I'd save you a piece, but, erm, I don't think it's going to survive the weekend. *evil grin*

We have more canolis and buckeyes at my house than we know what to do with. And my mom made the buckeyes with 10X sugar -- the things are like crack. Twenty minutes after eating one (if you can limit yourself to just one) you feel the sudden drop as the sugar leaves your body. And you must have MORE!!!

I'm definitely down for a weekend of Fushigi Yuugi, and a weekend at Griffin Grove, but not combined. when I go up to GG, I like to get out and explore for a bit. I also enjoy holing up in the studio with the TV, but not for as long as would be required for a proper FY marathon.

now, having cheesecake forced on me, that's another story entirely... ;-)

See, when GG was advertised to me it was "we all sit around, eat, watch TV, eat some more, sleep a lot and be naked in the hot tub." Now, hot tub stuff not withstanding (oddly enough the majority of people who feel the need to be naked, are people I do NOT need to see naked, but I digress,) I thought the idea of sitting on my duff and watching LOTS of anime appealing; we had been discussing doing something just like that for Evangelion, albiet a lot shorter than FY.

I had told CB about this, and he was all for camping and hiking, and I said "Ah, I see. Well I'll be the one in the house, sleeping, eating and remaining warm and loaf-ful, wake me when you get back."

*shrugs* We'll see what happens when I finally get the second boxed set, that's the only time this plan will be useful to me (I gather James is getting the sets, but the idea of being coopedup with him long enough to watch them makes me physically ill.)

And the cheesecake might Might MIGHT have given me tummy foo. *pouts* I'm hoping it's not evil cheesecake, I'm hoping it was just way too rich for me to be eating as frquently as I was (3 pieces in 3 days.)
