You know, D said it last night
Dec. 25th, 2002 02:36 pmwe were talking to one of her Aunt's, to whom I said "This is my big Xmas thing, my family doesn't really do big things. I'm planning on spending tomorrow in bed. " and she said "Oh that's awful!" And D said "You don't know her family, this is her Xmas gift to herself, a day of peace and quiet."
*evil grin*
I *heart* her sometimes.
Oh, and we appear to be on our way to being lesbian lovers. I was sitting next to her, watching the family bustle, and I said to her "We have to get one of us a boyfriend, because I'm the only one who comes to these things, and we hang out together the whole time.I looks like we should be picking out china or something." She said "*chokes* I wonder if people think that when we go out to dinner too?"
She got me a furry purse, the earrings I admired, and a bottle of wine, a Cab/Merlot blend from Australia. Now she has to cook so we can try it. Unless I get a volunteer? *evil grin* She said "It's for steak. I know you too well."
I'm afraid to look outside, but from what I can hear and kinda see out my window, blocked by shrubs, I see no snow, and I hear only rain or sleet.
I'm hungry.
It took me hours to wrap my nephew's and step quasi niece's presents last night. Took em two minutes to roll through em. *sighs*
Still debating the movie. Don't think I want to drive to Framingham, tho. Honestly, I'm thinking sitting right here, watching Eikoden in Japanese, with subtitles, and opening the DVDs I bought myself yesterday sound way more appealing than going out alone. I got myself the Royal Tennenbaums, used, and *evil grin* Crossroads, used. They had a 2 for $20 previewed at Hollywood Video. I'm thinking a Britney Christmas is necessary! *giggles*
I'm hungry tho. I'm thinking a rice thing, or ramen to take the edge off, til I can apply the guilt train to the moms, for some ham or sumthin'.
Whoo!
hey, it's cold in here! Need to turn up he sat, back later.
