My day just got better

tiamatladyStarted with someone pounding on my ground floor bedroom window. My sisters friends used to sue it as their own personal doorbell, because walking to the ACTUAL doorbell was too hard. It turns out it's my sister's dumbass boyfriend and his daughter. Well just his daughter, because once I slurped awake and acknowledged the pounding she pounded harder. I went out front, to see them, asked what they wanted and he didn't answer me (he was on the other side of the yard) and called her over. Apparently she's being allowed to run amok, although I wouldn't put it past him to suggest to her to bang on my window. The banging happened again, about 20 minutes later. By this time I'm totally awake, did I mention I was sound asleep, so I woke up with a total headache.
So I'm still in my PJ's, and I need to do laundry and run stuff to the post office, which I need to get READY. And I'm having a hard time (per usual) getting motivated. Finding out that I HADN'T paid a loan bill I could have SWORN I sent last night screwed me up royally. OH I need to deposit a check too.
Anyway, I just got a box, which is odd since I wasn't expecting anything. Figured one of my CPA's sent it. It turns out to be from a client of one of my CPA's whom I do some work for, filled with different sized purple boxes, all filled with candy or cookies. Ghiradelli! I've immediately taken everything out of the boxes, which fit together like a Russian doll. I'm keeping the boxes, for a display I hope to someday put on a mantle, or a coffee table in my own house, and I need to find a basket to put all the candy and stuff in to take with me tonight to share with the par-tay. And I'll be taking home what doesn't get eaten, I just don't want the temptation to eat it all myself!
OK Up and at me, I need to really be on my feet and to the post office by 4, so I can come back and shower and change for later. I'm thinking about bringing a bottle of Vanilla Coke for myself tonight, I don't feel like drinking at all.
