YAY Black Hair
Sep. 29th, 2007 05:27 pmI really need to make appointments with myself for things. Like manicures and pedicures. And dyeing my hair. I feel SO MUCH BETTER now. the limp brown is gone, those stray gray hairs are gone. It's just a lovely black.
I used the bottle of Feria color I bought a while ago at Sally's, along with the developer I already had, and I'm now effectively out of. That means I get the stuff I wanted to try with the purple tube of color spike *grins*
I didn't leave it on as long as I usually did. And for some reason I FINALLY thought to mix the color in the measuring cup, instead of pouring the creme developer into the dish, then measuring the color. I SWEAR I finally have the mix down. Then I added some of the Manic Panic, but frankly it's WAY FUCKING OLD. OMG you should have SEEN the dye mix, it looked like barf for a while. *shudder* It DID settle to what I was used to, but I've yet to see purple highlights. The Feria is pretty strong though.
I did shampoo, do a rinse with vinegar AND the Feria conditioner, and something worked right because it feels fabulous. Lighter than usual. I usually don't shampoo and this is the first hit of vinegar. I have issues with it - I used to have a vinegar rinse as insisted by my grandmother as a kid and I smelled like pickles for days *sighs* I only used a bit, and read some intorweeb reviews too, so it can't HURT.
I'm letting it dry so I can check out the cut. It seems to be OK for now, but honestly I can tell one side was chopped to shit, it's less full, and while it's in LINE, it's not entirely in line with the other side. I will definitely expert help for this one. Must recall to email B & J before they leave on Vaca so I can make an appointment about a week before Whitby with his lovely gay men.
That's been trhe extent of my day *grins* I really should get cracking on Ebay and Velvet Garden stuff. I need to sort through my things again.
We did have a FABULOUS lunch at Friendlys of all places. Their burgers are now teh awesome. And the new chocolate ending sundae was WAY yum!
I SWEAR I'm getting moving now.....
