Today I need to do something
Sep. 3rd, 2007 11:23 amI almost couldn't sleep last night. That can't happen on a school night. I'd hate to have wasted resting most of the weekend, due to being able to sleep before going back.
Teh Unit's BF is determinedly interested in getting me to visit local working man's bar. I have news for him - I hate bars for the most part. Not like pubs, there is no food and mostly drunken asshats with families looking to avoid them and drown whatever voices in the back of their head. I also think he has intentions of seeing me finally do something he can understand - drink heavily, Potentially become an alcoholic. Nice. Sorry - maybe we should just accept I'm not like the rest of the family and leave me the eff alone.
I will get moving today. First on my agenda is coffee and a cool shower. I have to check on how many quarters I have to run a load of laundry (thanks to yesterday's tuna shower) and I need a few things at the store. I do want to continue getting my room into shape, which includes getting some stuff out of there in the form of piles that need sorting and boxes that also need sorting. I need to relabel some. Then I need to go through the things in the living room and post my heart out. I actually should be doing this every evening.
I gave TUBF a one way ticket for the Logan Express, and since he didn't use it he wanted me to have it back. I don't really need it, since I need a round trip anyway when I go places, but I said I'd go get it. He started an argument that I would spend more in gas and he'd mail it back. Or I could meet him at *local bar* bringing about the comment above. I just don't know WHY the hell it has to be difficult. I finally had to say "I will come get it, that's final, be careful walking home.: since he'd called me from the walk from the train station (where I'd offered him more than one way of getting home that didn't involve him walking and got me out of the house, but hey, let's be a martyr. He does walk a lot every day for work, so it's not a huge deal, but sheesh.)
Anyway, I should put this down and get moving. Yay for feeling like posting, I hope this keeps up.
