In other news
Oct. 11th, 2004 11:30 am- I wrote a HUGE rant, but calmed down. In Short, my car got towed by the useless tow company for being parked illegally, which it was. I had come into the house, figuring Teh Unit would be home any second, and remembered later that today is a holiday and she wouldn't be coming home. I go out to put my car in the space and find it gone. $110 later, "mandated" by the state (*hand* whatever) So now Money is right back up there on the list of the Uber Suck. However, I'm going to start billing my major client every payroll. That way I don't run til the end of the month before I have money and I can start paying some bills on time. Given this schedule, I will get a check next Monday. I will be bouncing this off them on Thursday.
- Also something that needs to happen - I need to call the management company, and thank them for finally enforcing their policies. AND that I want them enforced UNIVERSALLY. Every time I see someone illegally parked I WANT THEM TOWED. No Exceptions. AND I don't want them to come running out to "save" their car. The only reason I got towed was because the company was slow - the lot was empty.
- I really don't want to go to the office today. I have things to do here. I never got to ANYTHING yesterday, and I'm motivated today. Figures. But I was so amped last night I couldn't sleep til late. I woke up before my alarm, but I should take a shower. I dyed my hair last night and everything has a blue/black tinge to it. My scalp included. it's So Deliciously dark. I emailed one of my clients to see who is in the office. If NOONE is in the office, I might play hookey for a while. Get some things done.
- Feeling pulled in a bunch of directions today.
- CB has not answered my last email. It was rather involved, due to a question he asked, and I answered at length. Either he doesn't have the time to address it, or he's mulling over how to tell me I'm nuts *grins* I'm unconcerned by the silence, this time, since I know he's concerned about his test, and I'd rather he maintain radio silence, do his work, and come out on Wednesday, where I can poke him. *grins*
I need to get moving, I'm going to have my coffee and cereal, which I can NOW have thanks to running the dishwasher. I had previously not had any bowls. Then hop in the shower. My nails need scrubbing after the dye last night, the shower is the only thing that does a good job. I hate to wash my hair so soon, but it's too dark for the office. I wish I'd dyed it Saturday. *shrugs*
