Another useless day

*sighs*
I need to set an alarm. I have to stop sleeping til midafternoon. I have to start going to bed at reasonable hours. InuYasha starts up again in July, I think 1Am is my bedtime, whether I like it or not. I'm tired of this place, I'm tired of my rut, yet it has me by the leg and won't let go.

I'm going to take a shower, and get dressed. then I'm going to do a load of laundry, and strip my bed and wash that too (although I have another set of sheets clean and ready, if I DON'T wash this set now, it'll probably sit in my way for months *sighs*)

I have social plans this week, and I require getting up and moving, and I'm going to make sure I have to. I have to see two clients tomorrow, which I'm actually looking forward to. I then booked CPA#1 on Wednesday, and I have to go, it's not going to work any other day of the week, which means I can't help paint a new house. *sighs* But earning a paycheck is way more important. I have to call two other clients regarding scheduling time for me to work. This sucks beyond all capacity to suck.

I'm staying in tonight and tomorrow, since I'm going out late Wednesday, and probably late Thursday. I have to call Chris and Lisa, and see if one of them or both wants to come out and check out Thursday.

Paging My DJ Peeps

One of the things I've found is my vinyl collection
What's the best way to store records? I'm looking for something that will protect from being crushed, and is portable. Any suggestions on what and where to buy? Am I wrong in thinking there's a carrying case for such a thing? I'm probably getting rid of a lot of it, but i Have Duran Duran 12" singles that are SO STAYING. I also have a ton of 45"s I don't mind buying two different things, but at this point I Have no idea where to look.

I don't have a tape. I've never had a tape. M had to make a CD for me.
It's dated 1993. Does that sound right to people?

Once upon a time, I wanted to sell my used CDs.
I found second spin's website.
I pulled up a list of all the cds I wanted to sell, in secondspin.
I then took the cds to used places and got the best price. THEN I sent the rest of them on to SecondSpin, who sent me a check.
THEY take the cds, and sell them out of their storefront. They have about 8 stores in Cali and Colorado.
They have relatively decent prices, versus Newbury and the slowly dwindling group of used stores around here

For instance - they'll buy Evanesence's Fallen for $5, they sell it for $8.99

Bascially, if you regret that purchase or got a pop CD gift, this might be a good place to get rid of it, if you're not getting offered a decent price. Or hell, even if you are. You bundle em up, send em out, and then send you back a check. You pay for shipping to them tho. *shrugs*

Anyway, I'm pleased to see it still in order. I'm going to make more of an effort to get some Cds together for selling.

Now, what to have for dinner? I really should go get something now, before I get into anything more. I've done a buttload of shredding, and really should get rid of the shreds, although that might not happen tonight (Not me procrastinating, the recycling bin might be full, and I can't dump more shredded paper if it's full.)

Hmmm, I want something in a nice phat home grilled burger. Maybe I should go to the store tonight instead of tomorrow between clients. I was thinking some nice fresh stuff from BJ's along with some more soda.

I have some items to give away, since I'm having issues just throwing thing out. *Sighs* Mostly stuff for crafty people to work for:

- a Well Wrinkled Marilyn Manson Mechanical Animals poster. I'm sure the wrinkles and folds can be removed, I'm just not that crafty.
- Marilyn Manson Promo standup - it's small, just an ad for the new album/video, AntiChrist Superstar era.
- Marilyn Manson Promo poster for Remix & Repent
(I'll give preference to the Wittle Spooky kids who ask for this stuff)

- 1996 Enchanted World Calendar - has some storage damage from being tossed in a box. If' you're looking for large fantasy pictures for projects, this is it.
- 1990 LARGE Guns N'Roses Calendar. This is in fair condition, some stains. Claimed
- 1999 Disney Magic Moments Calendar, and Activity booklet. Bought for my nephew, never used. Some REALLY CUTE pictures, would make a nice theme for a baby's bedroom, if framed or collaged. There are also some stickers that go with this.

Let me know if anyone can use these - I'll be happy to give them out to friends of friends if they can use it. Otherwise I'm just tossing them.

There are some shoes and purses coming up too. For sale, I don't usually give away shoes, but I might given the right person. These are pretty brand new.

EDIT - Oh not free, but like $5 or something I don't remember what I paid - a print of Dragonsbane by Michael Whelan It's kinda bendy at corners, if framed it'll be nice. It just doesn't suit me anymore. Apparantly it's the cover art for a book of the same title.

Edit #2 - Free to good home Nine Inch Nails book. It's simply not worth anything.
