I should stop looking into tearing apart my greedy list, until I get some things paid for. I need to get some XMas gifts. I spent some money at MicroCenter, for my boss that needs to be reimbursed before I go house again. I bought myself a new keyboard too, and I paid more than I wanted, but I liked this keyboard best, and the last time I cheaped out was a bad idea. It was very easy to drop $100, but $70 was for work. A flash drive, and USB hub for easier transfer of files. I got me the keyboard and my precious clear labels. BTW - their closing time is a suggestion only. I walked in at 6:10PM, browsed for 15 minutes, and only when checking out did I see anyone closing anything. I was never told to hurry up, I was never warned they were closing, in fact I entered the store 10 minutes AFTER closing.

Anyway, I'd like to say I'm sorry for not getting out to anywhere last night. My evil Doppelganger locked me in the bathroom and went out in my place. Did she do anything bad? *evil grin*

Saw Salem Fires tonight. Neat. I'm going to have to see them a bit more often, perhaps take another listen to the CD. Metal in a sea of keyboards.
I'm very tired tho. I really should go to bed soon.
Spent 4 hours in the office today. Not happy about that. But, if I think about it, it's my own fault. Since if I had put in 8 hours on Friday this wouldn't have happened. I put in *thinks* about 5 1/2 hours. So, this would have been the additional 3. Dammit. I really need to start getting up earlier, but I need a rest for that, and I'm not getting one. See how the cycle flows around and around?

My nephew is here, which means I'm probably going to be woken early. *sighs* That makes for a NOT happy me. but maybe I'll be able to get to work earlier.

Bah, I'm off to bed. I have a nice dinner with K and developer but I'm hungry again, and I'm craving the ONE thing I can't readily get, unless one of you Cambridge UK people want to bring me Chicken Kebob from that place near poetman with yogurt sauce, and rice, but no lettuce and no onions. Go ahead and hop a plane and bring it to me.

Gah, I forgot emarkienna will be out of touch after tomorrow. I need to poke him via AIM before he does. *pouts* Left alone with only my frickin family for distraction. This definitely makes me need to plan my day around that tomorrow. I want to be home at a decent hour, to speak to him, and then I can go back out again. I don't want to go shopping til late anyway. I just need to check times and such first.

I haven't' worked on my cross stitch in a week. I need to do this, soon. I'm just so busy and/or tired. Plus I want more kits. And I need a better hoop. Oh well, that waits til after Xmas anyway.

Violating self imposed "Don't post from work" ban.
I'm tired and I don't want to be here today.
Boss I was afraid would have gone apeshit if I didn't ocme in and get work done? - Not here. I could have easily done the work I did yesterday now. So it's been a few hours of "sit on my ass" and "worry about money."

See, I'm having issues - I've been broke for so long (excluding London, which was it's own set of problems after Lost Wallet Saturday) I'm going a WEE bit spastic at NOT being able to spend my money on ME. I forgot I didn't have as much as I'd originally projected (a month ago mind you) and some of what I've spent in the last 7 days has been excessive. And, sadly, it's all been on either being with people, or on Stuff.

I don't like thinking my bonus should be paying for teeth work in a month. No, no I don't like that at all.

To counteract that, I bought the cable/software I wanted for my phone from Ebay. It's costing about $15 total, and that should take care of my greed for a while, enough to get me out and buying some of the stuff I need to for Xmas.

Fact is - I'm not into it even more than I wasn't into it last year. I'm totally disgusted with myself. I don't WANT to get anyone anything, it's not that I can't afford it, I just can't be bothered. I have no Xmas spirit. I don't want to fight traffic, I don't want to do anything but sleep, and do my own selfish things. And it makes me gag. But not enough to go out and spend money I don't have. (I have some, not enough to do EVERYTHING I should. Bleh.)

*sigh* I think I'm going to go home and change, and consider my plan of attack. I hate people and I don't want to drive in traffic or wait in lines or whatever. But, I think a late trip to Attleboro is in order. There's something my nephew wants that I'd like to get him. At least THAT's Handled.

I'd like to make gifts some year. That would be from the heart.
