Quasi-announcement

I think I'm heading to Maine Ren Faire this Saturday, August 9.
Pretty much want something a bit lower key than last year, I really don't want to herd cats, plus it's a bit late to try and get everyone around to do something (My bad, I didn't really think about it.)

I don't think I'll make opening gate, but we'll see. I'm almost tempted to go by myself and just hang about all day. That way, I don't have to lug anyone with me who might not want to hang about. I'm not going to push it, the only thing I feel I MUST do is dinner on Sunday with D (which reminds me, I need to make reservations)

Jeez, I should get moving, I need a shower. At least my nephew is happily at camp for the day. Although I have to see how it goes. My sister went with me this morning, and I was standing right there when she overexaggerated a talk with a counselor, to make it look like my nephew was getting put down. I mean, jeez, I was THERE, I heard the counselor, what she said is NOT what my sister translated to my mother. *sighs* I know where the poor kid's problem is.

Postus interruptus

The backspace key on my computer suddenly doesn't work. Nor does (end) and probably (home) This is uber sudden, like it was working, then it wasn't. I've uninstalled, and reinstalled.
Me thinks it's a virus. Is there anything else it COULD be?
I need my backspace key! Sometimes it actually types an equals instead of doing nothing.

Thank you, drive through. (I'm so late, I'm off to work and I'll have to fix this later. I think I need to put a new keyboard on this tho, or FINALLY get Norton's up and running again permanently.)

Postus Interruptus - Update

So, I get home and start effing with the keyboard, NOW the R is gone.
And it's the 4, and R AND G.
So, replace with other keyboard - all is well.
I just couldn't figure it would have been the keyboard. I've never worn out a keyboard before. So I'm on an older one, which probably won't last very long, so I think some keyboard shopping is in order *wheee*

Now, the question is - do I want to see it?
I'd have to spend the money AND waste my ENTIRE Saturday night waiting to get into the ballroom, then waiting up FRONT amongst stupid pushy fans (Which I remember from experience from my only Dragoncon, and THAT was only Bella Morte/Voltaire/The Cruxshadows)

PS - I got Frozen Embers tonight, it was waiting for me when I got home. *Sweet!*
That remix I don't care for at MR - Apparently DJ Chris did it, it's "Go Away (Future Bible Heroes Remix)" Jeez, I hope he didn't HEAR me say I wasn't fond of it (tit's the merengue beat to it, it's a tad annoying!)
