My nephew had to go to a doctor's appointment with my sister today and got up uber early. Which means, at 7:45 when I got home - he was asleep. I swear, if he wakes me before 7AM, I'm killing him.

I know what I'm doing on the 10th.
The big boss here has been after me to take a gift certificate from him, for dinner or "something." It being my birthday on the 10th, and having just gotten around to hanging with D again, I thought I'd ask for it, for BOTH of us, so we can go out for our birthdays, somewhere nice, and neither of us have to pay.

He was talking about giving me a gift cert to The Capital Grille, and comes in and hands me one to Morton's Steakhouse instead.

My Mouth is watering just thinking about it. I wish poetman was here so I can treat him to a steak just as good as the one he treated me to in London (although that was a DAMN fine steak) and we'd have the wine expert with us this time, so we don't screw up the dessert wine.

I can't wait to email her later, I want her to look over the wine list before we go so she can look some stuff up. I'm thinking a midpriced bottle, like $50 or 60, how often do we have a chance to try a wine like that, eh?

I have to call for reservations, after I find out from her when is good. Maybe I'll let my nephew take me to lunch that day too.

So, that makes it offical, anything I'm doing out needs to happen on the 9th. I'm going to Maine Ren. Probably early. I need to call the Casa and warn them, Aofie wants my address for a thank you card anyway.

I really wish I felt like working here. It could be really good. But I like my freedom too, and I like tax season, for all complain. I really do prefer that work, working on different clients, doing taxes and audit papers. I'm a freak, I'm aware of this.

Anyway, off to file, and be geeky.

The guy I replaced email, which is still live, and I need to check for the stuff that comes in that's legit, gets a lot of spam.

Most specifically, a lot of spam for Viagra, and Viagra substitutes.
Should be be alarmed? Grossed out?
Maybe I need that new office chair, after all.

Ugh

Just spent a good half hour, poking about, deciding on prices and sellers on Amazon and Half.com to buy the rest of the Ceres dvd's I want
- To find that EVERYTHING has hit my account, EXCEPT the deposit I just put in (which they usually give you part of immediately) and I have $5 in there until the deposit goes through.

*grumble*
I'm sure I've lost the cheap dvds on Half, all form the same seller. I figured out I'd be spending about $120, DvdPlanet wants' $160, and new at the store is $200.

YARGH! AND - I still need that second Fushigi Yugi Box Set, the blue Seiryu, and it's gone UP at DvdPlanet. I need to wait for another Pioneer sale. Dammit, WHY can't I just have a sugar daddy, or an unlimited credit card, that gets paid by a "mysterious stranger" Bleh.

Now I have to wait. *pouts* I HATE to wait (And I don't even have enough on my credit card, thanks to the room last week. Plus, even if I did, I'm kinda sticking to the whole "pay cash" thing. I'm trying to get my credit card down, in anticipation of spending money in London *crosses fingers*)

Bah. I'm going to bed, or at least to lie on the bed, after opening a window, DAMN it's hot in here, stupid computer!
