I'm such a bad girl

It's 11, I wanted to be at client's at 10.
But, it's the evil client. So, obviously, I'm dragging my feet.
*sigh*
Today's going to be long and rough, but the problem employee isn't there today so I stand a chance of getting some work done. Of course, she completely messed up December on, so I'm screwed one way or another. And I'm hungry.

Yesterday didn't suck as much as I thought it would. After I got in and the boss said "well I think we're done with that, so you won't have to worry about doing it again. Just do the return, I'm not wasting time hunting through his "bookkeeping"." It's pretty funny what some people consider "good" books. *snicker*

I think I'm going to eat something before I leave, and take my last noodle bowl for food in the afternoon. I just really want to lounge around but that isn't for now, it's for April. I'm going to take my copies and things with me, to prep to send out packages tomorrow. Tonight, I will use the labelmaker again, and I need to type up letters, and since my printer SUCKS the big one I needed to do this at an office, and this will be the first chance to have some free time to use a printer that doesn't suck.

I can't get motivated, what the hell is up with that? Perhaps Dread? Or overwork? *sigh*

OK I have to email some peeps, then I need to get dressed and work.

I was reading a Boston.Com article on the end of FarScape, and how some fans are objecting to SciFi.com's new "direction" when I came across THIS travesty:

"In another affront to fans, she adds, Sci Fi has decided to replace one of the ''Battlestar Galactica'' main male characters - Starbuck - with a female actress in the December mini-series. ''There's a huge uproar over that,'' she says."

OK, I am NOW offically FUCK THAT! I'm sorry, Starbuck was, has been, and always WILL be my favorite man in tan pants! I mean, who ELSE could have carried on being SUCH an ass SO well??? (except for a certain Han Solo, but he's the MAN, and Starbuck is just a boy in tan pants.)

Who can I write to outlaw this? Screw Iraq, THIS is WAR!

(Yes I know I'm a geek. I was a kid obsessed with this show, to screw with Starbuck is just not DONE!)

I can't seem to bloody well WORK!
The October stuff is turning out as bad as I thought it might.
I just want to step forward, but I'm afraid it won't do any good.
I've eaten everything I brought with me, that is also a bad sign.

I feel - impotent. Not good.

Why I Can be annoyed

So, I've poked and prodded two months that were supposedly finished, by me, months ago. I feel that I canNOT ever prove they're right or wrong. The info I'm getting form the system NOW is different from what I got THEN, due to _whatever_ happened. Oh, and Mr. Dickhead Software Guy, guess what? I just found out HOW the damn thing WORKS, it's all based on one little date everyone dismisses as "unimportant," yet, if I use the current date instead of the statement date, I get a BALANCED FRIGGIN G/L

Anyway, I've moved onto the problem month. To find out that ALL THE WORK I'VE DONE IS GONE. Wait, let me double check - Yep, the G/L Entries are gone, as well as ALL of the deposit entries. TWELVE PAGES OF THEM. And, it's like I never got to the bank rec.


While pissing me off, this is for the best. I now know that December is Fubared from the beginning, instead of being Half Fubared. Unfortunately, this means a whole shiteload of work, that I've already done mind you. AND that might impact other things. I can't even begin to tell you how pissed I am. And this fromt he woman who said "we're all set now." Yeah, if by "we" you mean "YOU!" SHE is all set she's redone all her work, which took her TWO WEEKS to do. And, guess what, I don't have time to redo things. And, it might carry through to January as well.

Argh. Argh argh argh. I don't have TIME for this until April. They may have to wait. I think I'm going to call the accountant on Thursday and update him, and the boss. I'm thinking if i spend the two weeks following the end of tax season here at least every other day I MIGHT catch up.

*bangs head on keyboard* I should get back to it, it's just boring and stupid.
