tiamatladyI got me a teapot!
I *heart* TJMaxx. I'm almost thinking about going back to get some of the "sushi" gift boxes, with plates, and chopsticks, and sake sets. The sake sets are a bit wonky, tho, they're "pretty" with Chinese sayings on them. It made me realize how FRICKING MUCH I want some DAMN SUSHI! *sighs*
So I'm sure I overpaid for this tea set. The pot is about as large as my big mug, I just made three "cups" of tea, it came with two matching cups. This is PERFECT for me, it's enough tea that I feel ful without swimming in it, I drink out of one cup, and rest my strainer in the other. Like I said, I overpaid, but it came with a Zen sand garden, which I may give to D, and a spiffy box, I haven't even decided what to do with it yet. I may keep all my tea things in there for now.
Whee, how much fun! *grins* I made a small dent in my Xmas shopping. It seemed that I'd walk in a store, and fine something for someone immediately, and then have to hunt for anything else. So, by my estimation, I need to plow into about 30 more stores. *sighs* We'll see, after tomorrow. Next day I have is Sunday, well Saturday, but I'll be with Debb and KA and Ellie and Letty, so I won't be able to shop for THEM. I can't believe Lisa was easiest, and I'm only getting her something because she did last year and I know she will again this year. But, and I hate saying this, but it doesn't matter if she REALLY likes it. She will tho, it's a sparkly black necklace and earrings, that gleam green in the light. Totally her. I REALLY wanted to buy myself something, but it was one of the expensive accessory stores, so everything was overpriced. Bleh
I just want to go to bed, although I have things to do, like save my labels to a disk, but I think I'm going to shut everything down and go to bed.
