tiamatladyWhatever the nice hairdresser lady put in my hair yesterday made it all sticky and icky today. The bed half of my hair was sticking straight up. It started with a "leave in conditioner" which I typically don't like, or if I have it, AFTER a regular conditioner. My hair gets very stringy without it, almost like thick thread or yarn. Then whatever mousse she put in it while blowing dry really didn't like my hair, it wasn't light and foufy enough. I could tell by how flat my hair was lying mid-dry. It was OK for about 2 hours, then flattened. *sigh* She's usually very very good about this. But, I realized this time I spent $30 with tip, and I'm not sure if this last haircut was worth it. It's slightly not what I want, but I think I need to wash and dry it myself to see.
Which isn't happening today, today I'm dying it, after a quick water rinse to get all the product out of it. I kept looking at the purple thinking "That's nice, but I REALLY wanted a red." So I ended up getting another box, this time of a mid to dark red. I'm hoping it doesn't suck, since I'd have to run out of the house and get a box of black to cover it. I should do a strand test, but since I know nothing about hair stuff, I'm just going to plow ahead. I'm starting to think I should have bought the Feria, instead of this Lumia like brand, since I've never used it before, but *shrug* It's short, it'll grow right out *LOL( I just really wanted red. I'll do the purple in March when I need a pick me up. Although chances are I'm going to redo it black after the holiday.
I also think I'm going to cruise out of the house in a bit, and hit Michael's craft. I've gotten it into my head that I want to make Laura some wine glass charms, so I need beads, and wire and clasps and stuff. I should rummage the items I've yet to pass on to Feline for items. I need to think of a design, and then figure out how to do it. I also want some Bast charms for them. I figure they'll be the same design, but in different colors, each ending in a Bast charm. Or some sort of kitty charm, it just can't be tacky. She HATES tacky, in things like this. Although I'm thinking one of the charms will be leopard print *evil grin* I'm not liking ANYTHING I"m seeing, tho, so I need to think of something else.
Ugh, I have SO much I should be doing today. Work, and stuff that needs to be on Ebay, and Amazon.com and billing my clients and stuff. I paid some bills then remembered I needed money for the potential NYC commando raid, which I still think I may not do. I have SO much to do, and I'm tired. *sigh*
Anyway, boring hair rant over, I'm off to work, actually to get dressed and head to Michael's.
