One more, one more thing

I just went and checked my balance online, to see about my withdrawal from Wednesday at the airport, to see what the exchange rate was

100 pounds = 160.52 US dollars.

*GASP*
*HEART ATTACK*

I have 20 pounds left of that 100. And I haven't even been spending like crazy. It also means that my pretty new bracelet and necklace cost me *calculates* about $80 US.

*Falls Over*

I'm sorry but I'm NOT allowing any more sudden fits of spending. I may even take out 200 pounds on my next ATM visit, and THAT IS ALL I can have!

it goes quickly... i was in cambridge for a week. cambridge, not london, and spent about 200 pounds. at the time though it was $1.47 / pound, not the $1.60 you're getting, so i was a little better off. just a little though :-/

J said that it was the bank I used at the airport, that was a bit on the unreasonable side.
But that was before the crap I bought in the Museum.
AND the crap I bought today at the Tower.
AND thew other 100 I just took out.
But I've stopped caring, I just need to make sure I don't overdraw my account. Stupid money anyway, why can't people just GIVE me stuff.

I was concerned about the rate exchange, but I've startewd to get a bit panicky about not doing everything I can. Oh well, I can always borrow money from J, and send him a check if necessary.

He just boughted me a most YUMMY steak, you would have loved, and a LOT of wine/booze, which you would not love. But I'm feeling VERY Jedi right now *sloppy grin*
