Am I the only one who had today off?
Oct. 14th, 2002 12:25 pmI couldn't schedule a client to save my life today.
Which means tomorrow has to begin far too early, like possibly *GASP* NINE AM!
(I know,
staralfurinn made fun of me yesterday)
Let's see -
- I really had a great time over the weekend. I figured out the other route to NYC and it so wasn't a problem. It went well until the Henry Hudson Park(ing)way *sigh*
- The Holland Tunnel is a MAD rapist, SIX bucks to drive through to Manhattan???
- I ran around NYC Chinatown yesterday, and it was SO much fun! I got a fan and some Pocky, and that tea I liked at Goffee. AND I got a little whistle and rhinestone charm for my Cell phone!!! I feel like a little Asian schoolgirl *giggles* I saw some neat places I'd like to go back to, especially with
kazama a warehouse style building with kimono's and Chinese style clothing, and kungfu outfits, and tea sets and little happy good luck kitties.
- I can eat vegetarian food and not pass out *grins* But I do end up with a large meat craving afterwards. I need to introduce
violentdreamz and
staralfurrin if just so they can go to S's favorite restaurants and have someone else REALLY appreciate them. (I'm sorry I still say meat needs to be on the table. DimSum was a snack *giggle*)
- I saw a YUMMY YUMMY kimono for CB. It was black pattern on black, but I'm pretty sure it was rayon, not silk. (I didn't touch it to find out) It had a high Mandarin collar, and was long and fitted in the top, but swirl out on towards the bottom, just how he'd like it. But I ALSO know, and I don't know him too well, but enough to know this, that it if wasn't silk, he'd not want it. *sigh* He'd look SO sexy in it. Hopefully, one day I'll have the chance to show him, the kimono, Chinatown, all the places I like to go in NYC, then take him dancing at the Batcave. I wish the Bank was still open. I have to talk him into taking some time off, and saving some money to do the City in Style.
- I'm really sorry I missed Da Hood party, it sounds like it was the biggest in a long time, and everyone had fun. But I was really afraid I'd either be sitting in a corner, unable to socialize and missing my husband, or resisting the urge to start forcing the passive aggressive to actually DEAL with their problems, and you know, I don't want to do that, especially at B&J's. So off to NYC with me, far for the best.
- I REALLY Love that band. Really really really.
Ok, time for me to get moving. Shoes are a-calling. And I have to package up my ebay stuff, in case i need more, so I can go get them before Office Max closes.
And there are pictures to drool on.
