Just back from seeing this, with [livejournal.com profile] elvendoll, [livejournal.com profile] sol3 and [livejournal.com profile] zerokey

I finally get the love of it that some people have. Seriously, the videos kinda bored me, I saw the prettiness of it, but I didn't really SEE it. We had great seats, and saw pretty much everything. The clown guy wasn't John, the REALLY funny guy from the tape [livejournal.com profile] maudlinkitty, but he was VERY good, and he rubbed [livejournal.com profile] spud's head. *giggle*

Yeah, I'd go again, and now I really want to see Alegria.

There was a YUMMY boy, who did some arial rope things, and the German Wheel. *DROOL*

You should see Mystere in Vegas. One of the best Cirque shows I have ever seen. Slowly I have started seeing them all but Quidam just didn't interest me for some reason.

My friend Lisa just went to Vegas a couple of months ago and saw "O". She said it was amazing. I haven't heard much about their new show which a lot of people had tickets for this summer. Also, I never hear much about La Nouba at DIsney even though their theater is a huge part of Downtown Disney.

As for the saving money, Iwould love to do this but see my LJ post about budgets. I did figure out my questions I was going to ask you so no worries there. BUt that des sound tempting. Especially around the holidays when I will have money and airfair to Vegas goes way down.

Wayne Newton? Are you sure you wouldn' want to see Sigfried and Roy instead? :) Or how about Pen and Teller?

was it this German Wheel guy by any chance?

(I know it's a bad picture, but it's taken directly from the Quidam DVD, so it should be easy enough to figure out.)

Nope, John Gilkey left Quidam before going to Dralion to bail out their comedy act. (The original comedy act had some visa issues or something, so they needed to create a new act and called him in.) At the end of their stint in Boston, he handed over the reigns to a new clown and went and joined Verakai, in which he is the majordomo.

Yes, I love John.
