I don't even know what to call yesterday

Your intrepid heroine last posted about being pissy at getting up early to go do stuffs. Which involved working at a client, where CPA #1 was going to make an appearance. Due to Internet fucking around, I ended up late enough to not be able to stop for coffee. I figured we'd be having lunch and I'd be OK.
BIG fucking mistake.
I get to client and it takes me FOREVER to reconcile a month. I could COULD NOT for the little life of me figure out why I was off, I finally had to write it off and bury it. Fortunately for me, after that the other things I had to do went smoothly. I finished just as CPA#1 arrived.
SHE almost drove me to drink. FOUR HOURS LATER, we're finally packing up to leave. I'm horrified, and starving I totally blew threw some cookies the client provided to butter us up. He might have actually seen the light and is taking some steps to fix his stuffs.
So THEN we finally eat and the Thai place we go to has returned to phenomenal. Thank dog, I was SO hungry I almost ate mine and hers! Then I led her back to the highway, and went home. Debating whether or not I wanted to try for one of the Apple stores. Client has given me a gift card and it's burning a hole in my pocket.
Around now Chris is calling, we'd had tentative plans. I managed to get off the couch, and go to the Maul, AND lines in almost every place had me simply going in and out of the Apple store.
One shiny black 160 gig Ipod Classic later....
(and actually I was thinking about getting the smaller one, but something the guy in the store said had me go the other direction. He Said " I think 80 gig is a crazy amount of space, let alone 160." I just thought of all I could DO with 160 gig. So I bought that one. *snerk*)
I also managed to charm about 6 Apple worker drones. I kept pulling out my old one, to show them one thing or another as way of explanation. Every one that looked at my 3G, with the HP logo on the back were all "OOOHHHH! I've never seen one of these." um, WHAT? *boggles* I was also cheerful, not greedy, had specific questions and was unabashedly "No no, this is a gift, FOR ME." They liked that. *grins* Anyway after a few convos I found out that most of my accessories would work already, as evidenced by the classic cheerfully uploading away and charging on my old dock. I can't believe how fucking cheap Apple has become with accessories. Now you have to "buy" a "universal" dock. My Ipod came with a "dock adaptor" which doesn't fit my dock but the Ipod does fine. Asshats. ALSO - I like a rubber skin for the thing, and the guy at the store said, and I quote "Oh people never liked the rubber skin." *eye roll* But, anyway, now I know what I will need to buy, and I will be ordering them online, since the store had NOTHING I wanted, and I wasn't willing to just drop money on what was in front of me.
I get home and don't even have time to open the toy before Chris calls and I'm off again. This time to Borders for some window shopping (sorta) and a latte, THEN to Chilis so they could eat, and I managed to again. I thought I was gonna hurl when I got home. Course I'm hungry again now with no leftover to show for it!!
Anyway it was a long day, I was wiped out, and still don't feel entirely right. I need to get some laundry done, being out of undies and having spilled cocoa on me the other night. TMI I know *grins* I'm still planning on going out tonight and, given how warm it's supposed to be I might go ahead and wear me some cute shoes.
I am still planning on Gung Ho Ceremony tomorrow night. Should be good. For now I need to get myself organized and moving. I need groceries and am not looking forward to THAT trip. I want to put off what I can until after Xmas but we're out of a couple of things.
