I decided I wanted a nice after dinner drink last night, and had bought one small carton of nog, which I got some rum for. But, I bypassed that (after a small glass for the sweet taste because I REALLY wanted cake but didn't have any) for a beer - the Sam Adams Black I liked so much that reminds me of German dark beer.

Ok, I had two.

and WHAM! I suddenly had energy and was flying all over the house, high as a kite. I put up a ton of things to that Swap site I found (look back in my entries for details, it's awesome!) and put my whole Amazon wishlist in. I use that to keep track of books I want, and I frankly, will be adding to it and the Swap site now.

Horrifyingly, that's very true. Now I think I'm going to have a nice beer once a week when I want to get stuff done. As long as I do it before I Get tired. And preferably, not on a school night, because I couldn't effing sleep for the longest time.

But no drunken posting, sheesh! I swear you're all lucky you didn't get Naked Tennant pics and porn fanfic between the Doctor, Jack and Ianto.

I AM marked adults only, because frankly, it suits my purpose keeping random strangers out. In Soviet Russia, You use Livejournal! Wait. What? *grins*

Anyway, today I'm busy, and DETERMINED to keep out of office politics and keep my mouth shut. I need that "Loose lips sink ships" poster to remind me. I'm going to get that, and a nice big picture of the garden I took out one of the windows at Cardiff Castle, to give me the illision of a window.
