tiamatladyHow dumb of an idea is it to buy some stuff at DragonCon with the express idea of Ebaying them.?
For example - I want the 2 Fushigi Yugi Boxed sets, the new ones from Pioneer. They retail for about $200 apiece. I found several places at last DragonCon that had them for $100 apiece. Used sets are currently going for between $130 to $150 on Ebay.
So that would be, say, if I bought 2 sets, and sold one set on Ebay, I could make $100 on my $200 purchase.
It does depend on how much I brought with me, and what I bought. But I could make myself some nice money after Dragoncon, enough to repay part of the trip.
Seriously, if I had the extra cash, is this a dumb idea?
