tiamatladySo, having more than a minute to eff around with Nero for DVD creation, I found it will compress files, and still keep an eye on it's feasibility. Last night I burned 3 episodes of Torchwood (for storage only, natch!) onto a disk that works quite spiffily. In only 12 hours too! *sighs* I will definately be paying for the fastest processor with the next computer. I believe this box will continue to be a burninating workhorse, though, even when I have a new laptop.
I think I will be buying Nero once I have a bit of extra cash. It's been quite useful, and more importantly, easy to use. I'm not too thrilled about some things, but these are things I can live with, as opposed to hating with a passion. Kinda like Eudora versus Thunderbird. I liked Eudora, but what I hated, I HATED. Thunderbird does more, and the things I don't like are more of a "enh, it's not so bad."
Today's been a total waste so far. I did something last night that had me prone on the couch (not in a good way,) asleep for a good hour, then I just got up and went to bed after Trinity Blood/Bleach. I've been in recovery mode today. I have work to do that will lead me to the office later, as well as some bitty items I'd like to get at OSJL. I think I'm going to pop to a different one than usual, live it up a bit. Ph33r my mad slacking skillz.
But first, will setup a new burn.
More later, I owe phone calls and emails. But there has been bacon. And it is good.
