OK, I can do without the mood swings

At least it's an upswing. And I'm very susceptable to enviorment. THIS is why I need a houseboy.
emarkienna? Are you listening? I require cooking, cleaning, picking up of my clothes, arrainging and organizing of things, and knowing where things are so when I want them, they are available. Also providing drinks of my choice, and occasionaly fanning and feet rubbing. *sighs* Someday I'll be able to import my houseboy, but not today.
So I was not happy leaving the house. Today is the guy I'm trying to eind down, I woke UP when I said I'd be here, and I just wasn't in the mood for a day like last week's. Plus if I work super late I have to hustle from here to Somerville, which is never fun. I was anticipating an attitude since I'd said I'd be here yesterday, and decided it wasn't worth it, and skipped. Plus driving fun last night; why is it that people SUCK beyond all ability to suck sometimes, while driving. On Route 1, I was stuck between someone who didn't know where they were going, driving 15 miles an hour, an SUV I couldn't see over, and a jerk in a beat up car crawled UP my ass, since I was ALSO doing 15 miles an hour. Every time I tried to go around the SUV I was shut down, and the one time I ALMOST made it, the guy in front of me stopped DEAD to make a right, and the jerk in back of me almost rear ended me, since HE wasn't watching. THEN it was MY fault, according to his hand gestures. *SIGHS* I hate getting all bitched up then trying to socialize.
Anyway, I wasn't looking forward to coming in. I was tired, I'm overwhelmed by the amount of work I have to do, and just wanted to stay home today and do it. I wasn't in the mood for the attitude I'd get.
Except I got none. No mention of yesterday, there isn't a heck of a lot to do. I should get out of there at a reasonable time, so I can stop at home, maybe make something to eat, and get to my other client. The boss is in a good mood and is taking it easy today himself. Which is strange. Given that the choke hold on my time has just eased, no wonder I'm in a better mood.
I'd also taken a quick minute earlier and bought my bus ticket. I wasn't getting any input from CB on the subject so I thought "Eff it." estimated time of arrival and when I'd have to leave, AND considering I scheduled my client for tomorrow morning instead of Friday I just went and booked it. I need to be on a bus at 11AM-ish to Braintree station. I should be at South Station by 11:50 or so, giving me plenty of time to get to the bus station area, get my will call ticket fromt he machine and find my bus to leave at 12:30.
I was evil last night and got lost in Target. BUT I did get a nice new pair of sleep pants, and the cutest sleep short set, for $4. the top is a bit big, but it's what I wanted. So now I have new sleep items, that didn't cost an arm and a leg. And they're soft. I got some other things, including a book I wanted when I went to England for the plane, and couldn't afford. It's a large softcover of The Other Bolyn Girl I love this kind of thing, and although it was expensive, not as bad as it could have been. I also wanted the Laurell Hamilton books I don't have, but I figure if I take Blue Moon to reread, and Obsidian Butterfly, I'll have MORE than enough. Yep, I lost interest in Obsidian Butterfly, But I think I want to set aside some time to reread everything. Then I can catch up, once I can get the hardcovers cheap. I've decided to replace the paperbacks with hardcovers, although I'm looking for volumes like I got from the Book Club, as to save space. Then I'll sell the others. I already have one coming, and I know there's a third.
So I have plenty to read but I need my CD player which is among the missing since the revamp. I have NO CLUE where it is, although I do know it's in the room. I also need to burn a new Cruxshadows CD to add the newer stuff, and other CDs. The player is CD/MP3 format, so one CD fits all my Cruxshadows stuff, and I hope to have an Ipod by mid tax season, so I don't need to buy anything else.
I should get to work. Is it any wonder I want to stay home tonight? I have stuff to find and do, packing to do, then take out, then REPack less. I'm going to make a list of what I think I'll need based on slacking, clubbing and excessive amounts of walking I'll be doing. I need at LEAST one change of shoes. And lots of socks.
