I think I screwed something up.
My display doesn't look quite the same as before.
Weird.
I deleted a whole bunch of stuff in an effort to save my almost full C drive. I need to fetch my Quickbooks 2001 disk from the office, or double check the box, and then I can move that to another drive. Moving that and Office will open up more than enough room for updates. I suppose NEXt time I'll use a huge drive, but when I first got this I had one drive.

I've uninstalled and reloaded a couple of key programs and found MAJOR changes. Very disturbing. Everything just looks a hair off. It's annoying, and my eyes are having a hard time adjusting. I suppose I should reconsider reinstalling the software that came with the video card, but it's working, and it's just annoying not prohibitive. Things have rough edges tho and I know that's not right.

however, I do have room on my C Drive now. *shrugs*

I'm sure there's more but I'm processing a good chat I had tonight about my situation. It's made me less angry about the lack of support I'm getting. I just have to remember that not everyone sees it as I do. I don't see it as a waste, I'm trying to learn, and there's only one outcome that will be an issue (IE if I'm made to feel stupid. Like Really Stupid. Once a year is quite enough.) I have to make the right decision for me.

LJ Has been boring today, I'm very bummed, I hate being bored.
Off to finish scanning and I think I might have to run defrag tonight!
