I'm getting a sinking feeling

I'm unworried about the timing that's just gotten screwed up. My Tuesday client called me this morning to remind me that his (crappy) payroll company are not getting the payroll to him til late tomorrow. It's usually in on Tuesday Morning. I find that outrageous, but he's OK with it so I'm not saying anything. But that means one of the key parts of my job I can't do. He wants me in on Thursday, which I can do in the morning. I'm not going to the show tomorrow night (I'd MUCH rather spend my money on the Cruxshadows, thanks, and I've SEEN Faith and the Muse *YAWN*) so I'm going to get up early and see both clients. I can do this.
This also gives me today off, considering how much I want to do to the room, and now that I have two storage boxes full of clothes and other stuff begging to be photographed. Plus I have to see the asshat tomorrow, I'll be mentally preparing. Or eating junkfood. Or getting and eating junkfood.
THEN I get a call from my sister. She wants to know if I know where Teh Unit is staying, since she's not answering her cell. She's in a bit of a weepy panic mode. Seems the nephew has a toothache, and needs to see a dentist, and she doesn't have the money for it. Teh Unit had said she'll pay for it, but my sister has to pay for it, then teh Unit will pay her back. BUT, as usual, my sister doesn't have any money. I'm assuming FABF drank it all the night before. I told her to have the dentist bill her, tell them it was an emergency and she'll have the money in a week or so. She was practically crying when she said "They won't do that." Oh really? What are they gonna do? tell you "Nope, sorry your kid has to be in pain, because you don't have the cash NOW."
See THIS is why I don't want kids, or even pets right now. OK it's only ONE of the reasons I don't want kids. But it's directly related to me not having pets. I can ignore my own stuff, but I'm not going to have a sick dog or cat and be UNABLE to get it treatment since I can't afford it. That's way wrong.
So I said "let me know" since I DO have the money in my account, and Teh Unit will pay me back. I was going to order the InuYasha stuff today but I really wanted to wait to figure out my finances, and it's too late to preorder anyway. I was just caught up in last night's episode, Return To The Place Where We First Met and WANT to see more, and since I've sold the eps I bought (in order to facilitate this purchase, surprise it got used elsewhere) I don't have any to watch. kazama recorded for me. However, the movie is out too. I just think it sucks that I've been working on getting this thing, and can't. And on top of that, need to pay my sister's bills on top of it. And I GUARANTEE it's because FABF has said "_I_ need drinking money." What a man.
Anyway, today is going to bring more cleaning, and sorting. I want to get stuff up on my sale journal. I also want to put some things away, like the DVDs and the hardcover books I'm keeping. Maybe I'll also put some of the other books up on Amazon or Half. I totally want to build up that pile in the living room that says "Storage unit" I also want to start a pile that says "donate." But I don't think I'm at that point yet. I think I'm looking to get money for stuff *grins* How sad. This is representing my InuYasha Box set. I'm Motivated.
I'm also craving a Big Mac for some reason so first I'm going to get dressed and go to McD's. Since I'm not getting a check today I'm going to deposit my check from last night today. Just to get a jump up. I should have deposits today, tomorrow, and Thursday. Then OK I got nothing. But I'll make it happen. I have the Cruxshadows to see.
I also have a new project-ish, I bought a CDrom from ebay with some Egyptian designs on it, and they're very bright, and picture looking, but they require a LOT of floss. I'd need to stock up a whole box, just to do one piece, so I'm going to start looking for sales on floss, and I need a box to keep them in. But, my first project will be a loverly Anubis, it's really cool, and if it works I have matching pieces to do as well. Decor for my blank purple walls.
