it really depends on what program you are in as to what that will do. If anything at all.
Alt-F4 usually closes a program window Ctrl-F4 can do the same, but usually does nothing ctrl-alt-f4 in AIM does nothing. so I am guessing in general it does nothing.
There is no way for them to link that to unsubscribing, maybe they are trying to trick people into closing the window so they think they are unsubscribing. That's quite an amusing bluff if you ask me.
