tiamatladyhow I lived so long without a NICE computer!!!
I've found a bit of time, sandwiched between work and parties (Not that they weren't nice, but I so would rather have stayed HOME!) to play with my computer. I bought a soundcard, because my sound card fairy got drunk and dropped into an ocean. (Ok, Greg gave it to someone else, but I like my metaphor better). The soundcard (Thanks for the recommendation BrianBunni, kicks MUCH ass) intalled in under 10 minutes, it tok me longer to figure out how to open the case. I've been downloading like a mad fiend since then, as I can now HEAR what I've been getting. And I've got such a screwy list, I'd love to see the look on the face of someone checking out my list on Napster. Heh heh heh. And I'm on my way to figuring out RealPlayer, to rip CD's.
I do, however, need to call the hard drive fairy, and see if he's sobered up yet, and try and get one, becuase at the rate I'm going I'm going to easily fill the 4 Gig I have. I'll buy one if I have to, but I'd rather spend the $$$ on a CD burner, or that PalmPilot. *sigh* So many toys, so little money.
Otherwise, very little has seeped into my mind. I've done nothing but work, and sleep like the dead. Although, last night I was so tired I couldn't sleep. Bad sign. I'm praying for a snowday tomorrow. I still have to work, but I can do it in my pj's and my cow slippers, and IM people all day. *grin* I think some people might be pissed at me, but you know, I don't care. It's people who ask me to go out of my way to do them a favor, like a ride home, or whatever, and I'm sorry, if you're going to be mad at me for NOT wanting to take your bitch ass home, you are invited to bite my shiney metal ass.
And I wanted to watch StarBlazers on DVD. *sigh* Wildstar was my second favorite growing up, only Jesse Dart ranked higher (And I had SUCH the crush on him). No wonder I like them moody, and bitchy. *evil grin* And my friends thought I was wasting my time watching Anime as a child.
