ping pong ball
that's me today.
To work, or not to work?
On one hand, I do want to make some money.
On the other hand, I have a lot to do here and am feeling motivated. Noone's here, it's cool in my room, I have food to eat (well, Ramen, but it'll do while I'm home)
*ping* the client I'm working on needs their stuff done since they are trying to refinance a mortgage to make a settlement offer to the State (yes people, this is what happens when you fuck up or ignore your taxes.)
On the *pong* I have my OWN tax stuff to work on.
Back to the *ping* I'll be working late
which immediately gets to *pong* as I want to go to Goffee tonight. *shrugs* I don't know WHY I want to go, I doubt it's going to be full of nice people like I like it. And in the mood I'm in, if that creepy "gets in my personal space" guy shows up again I might just have to belt him.
*sighs* The RIGHT thing to do is go to work. The spirit is torn.
I think I'm going to clean up my desk, pay the bills I need to pay, prep the things that need to be mailed, stop and get a monster ice coffee and pistachio muffin, and go into the office til I'm done.
*le sigh* I want to see people, but I'll be being social tomorrow.
I hate being a quasi grownup.
