tiamatladyLast night, just as I was getting into writing emails and being productive, something went *WHUMP* with my Internet connection.
Instead of being able to really work on the modem, I had to shut everything down and go to bed. feeling rather disjointed about it.
This morning it was still down, so a reset of the modem was in order before calling ComCast and having a cow (so to speak)
The reset was the charm.
I was getting packets to the modem, and to the Computer, and FROM the computer, but then it failed to send out from there. I don't have any idea how it happened. All I know is I REALLY needed to talk to someone after getting home from Goffee, and COULDN'T since the only logical solution at that time, AIM, was denied me.
Add another reason onto the "Why this needs to be MY place" argument. If I had been able to turn the light on for more than a second last night, since I WAS able to unplug the modem quickly, and thr router, but that obviously wasn't enough, I could have taken care of this last night. Argh.
I had a post from last night, but it doesn't seem appropriate now. I don't feel so down now. Last night was - hurty. That's all I can say.
*Addendum* Strike that - NOW I feel crappy. *sighs*
