He just DID sound thrilled to talk to me and I couldn't muster up my usual enthusiasm. I just think that I've ALREADY lost him and this is just the slow and painful part of it. That I have to WATCH.
The evil part of me hopes that he gets reassigned to Alaska at the last minute. Let's see how three years in the frozen north as opposed to effing Tuscany appeals to her. Probably not, as they're going through the expense of getting all their papers in order. Plus she's pretty much guaranteed to be left alone there, he expects to be out on "business" quite a bit.
GAH! Now I'm getting pissed off again! I promise you - _I'D_ never NEVER do something like this - leave my friends and family to move where I don't even speak the language, and then be left alone there.
*sighs* At least you speak the lanuage. And you needed the change. I just want to smack the two of them. I'm hoping I can wait til AFTER the ceremony to do it.
