And then I REALLY need to get away from this thing.
Socially, I'm probably going to be nonexistent.
I'll be at Wolfsheim - because that's for me. I'm going to try to still be at ManRay, especially this week, but I dunno if I'm making anything else.
Virtually - same thing. If I'm reading LJ I'm going to try to stay off of comments, and posting will hopefully be private as I rail against this whole thing. I just need to make it til April.
I finally decided on, had the money for, and purchased the jewelry for Lou's wedding. The EVIL seller emailed me over the weekend with a different set for me, that BLEW my mind
My necklace
She's calling it "Rainbow Moonstone" and I LOVE it. It's got more depth and fire than the pure onyx, and I'm in LOVE LOVE LOVE with the knotwork. It's going to hit just at the curve of my cleavage. You'll be seeing this on me a lot.
Gift for the Bride or MoH
The MoH wears gold, but Sprite likes this, so I thought I'd buy it and at least someone will appreciate it. It seems that even tho I kept saying "I'll buy this as a gift" it got largely ignored. So I'm giving it to S, who might ask her MoH to wear it. Although now we don't match, since the Onyx necklace had the same knotwork and now the one I bought does NOT.
BTW - interested in owning something like this? She's on Ebay as strega2. This set is the Queen Mabh design. the other knotwork is the Queen of Tara design, and she does have that in other gemstones. She even emailed me this morning about how another buyer had expressed interest, so if I wanted it I should get it. Of course, she had ALSO emailed me the link in the first place, knowing I'd like it, and pricing it a bit more expensive.i've never seen gems like that tho, so it's worth it to me to have a one of a kind piece.
My present to me
I bought this for me. She's going to add a bit to it, so I can wear it nice and loose around my surprisingly think ankle. I normally don't do hearts, but this is just feels good - probably with the black heart *evil grin* This is called Hecate's Heart. So, that should be it, except for little things. I need to make time to meet with Howie, which won't be hard since I'm insistent we do that over sushi. I still need shoes, but I have lots of time to get those, and I do have some in my closet that will do.
I'm really hoping to just fade back for the next couple of weeks. I need some time to myself, then I'll be back. promise.
And the FIRST person who says "work" to me, before I'm prepared to handle it, gets dropped from my friends list, and dropped from my life. I'm NOT kidding. It's almost like you have no respect for me. OK, it's exactly like it. I'm not talking about taxes NOW, there are some who need to get me their stuff. I mean while I'm recovering.
