gah. not the nicest thing to hear. I feel like I'm really at a dead end with archaeology because there are so few job opps in the discipline, and even if you can get one, you barely make enough to live on. I suggest that in your case it's not as simple as just being the same, no one lives in a void, we all have other things that influence our lives. Meh. sorry that someone was so insensitive :(
