Recycling

I'm thinking about getting one of these:

I've found just so much computer gear, tapes, video tapes, etc that I want gone, but can't just bring myself to toss.
I know there's a charge, which I'm sure some people will be "BUT you can SELL them and MAKE money!"

I dunno - do YOU want a 25 yar old worn out tape of Duran Duran's Rio?

Yeah, so I don't mind paying to do the right thing here, especially since this is a one time thing. I can order a box, or put a box together then decide, and just throw the stuff into it as I come across it. I really like the idea of ordering one of THEIR boxes, as the price includes the box to use, and shipping back. I don't have to worry about it, just pack it up and drop it off and off it goes.

Is anyone interested in potentially doing a purge, and contributing to the recycling box? This would be the opportunity to get rid of the old tapes, and CDs, they take everything. Maybe kicking $5 my way to help defray the costs.

I don't know, this is a new idea for me right now, but I'm going to look at it harder as I go through my stuff and decide on what to keep.

I do love me some Craigslist - now if it will just sell the stupid giant George Forman grill I'll be thrilled!

Now I need to put away an ass-ton of laundry. Took all the clothes I got from Freecycle, and all the stuff I'm keeping from the storage unit to the better laundry to just get everything washed all at once. Might begin the packing process tonight as well. Also need to make a run to a couple of TJ Maxx es to see if there are any more of those sockies I like. Hey, they're soft and comfy, made of cotton and perfect for walking, whether in boots or sneaks. I need more.
