against my stuff.
Some items that have made purge after purge, went out recently. Never will anyone be able to see the grades I got in the 5th grade. I think I'm finally tossing the 4's I got on the AP exams (that letter is in another box I opened and decided not to handle right then) Things I thought I "needed" to keep have been pushed out the door like your Aunt Martha at Thanksgiving.
I feel lighter for the first time in years. I'm opening boxes and finding them half full, which is Shameful, since all I really had to do all along was organize and toss. I mean WTF? I opened one box and found two speakers for the oldest of my stereos (which includes the only turntable in the house) and a light box I've had since I was 12. (ironically, I think that's staying, it should fascinate M and makes for an ambient room. Hehehehe. It's one of those multicolored things that pulses and flashes to music.)
The storage unit is on it's way to empty, I've got a few things that need taking apart for tossing, and I need to start freecycling.
There have been some cool things too. I opened a box and found a hat that belonged to A, an ornament she loved that I took to keep safe (and is in one piece) and a picture from her 21st birthday without I don't recall. I can't wait to send her these things, she needs to have them and have the same feeling I got when I opened the box.
OH - and I found Apollonia and Vanity. *evil grin* I'm going to get the display boxes for them the next time Michael's has a sale. Once again, they simply got tucked into a box, for "safekeeping" and it took this long to find them.
I've gotten a call from one of my part timers. I plan on popping over there for a couple of hours of work, and they're providing me with a piece of software I desperately need. They need me to do a bank rec and some corrections to the financial.
And I should get moving - the earlier I get there the better, in case I need all the time she's still there. Plus I need coffee. *grins*
