I need to make some labels for some items for sale. I was planning on grabbing a graphic, typing up a description, and printing a whole bunch of big labels, so that everything could be on the table, marked with prices.
Labelprinter is dead. It appears to be the powercord, which I've spent pretty much ALL of today searching for a replacement. One sold me by a RadioShack threw off pretty blue sparks when I unplugged it, after it didn't power on the printer. Frankly replacement cost on this is about $100, which is a bargain for how often I used it. I just REALLY CAN'T AFFORD IT right now.
And then there's the cellphone. It's been dying pretty fast lately, sometimes I'm on the phone no more than 10 minutes and it's crapping out. Well when I pulled out the battery to look, it's swollen. Batteries that swell are NOT GOOD. The phone/battery are old, so I can see it, I have until October to get the deal from my phone company, and I might not even stay with them. My contract is up in October so I was thinking about potentially porting to a company that will sell me a phone I can USE in fucking England.
I really need the phone next week at BlackSun, as we communicate by phone/text. So having a phone with a swollen battery, and crappy usage - not good. I DO still have the RAZR, which might be why I never got around to getting rid of it I might just use it for the weekend, and I have to admit the bluetooth was useful, although iffy sound wise. A better choice I've already paid for, as everyone who hasthe battery replacement is either expensive and sketchy, or won't ship fast enough and sketchy.
I just can't afford everything right now, and I need it, you know? I use the labelmaker almost every week, and I have a bunch of stuff still left for it. But the fact is there are better models for me to buy, that will help me even more, I just SHOULD NOT make that investment NOW.
