Ladies, riddle me this
Jul. 9th, 2007 04:17 pm(some guys might be able to feel my need here as well. But, as Elle Woods says, guys don't know designers, that you're either wearing brown or black shoes, and you have two pairs. Shoe horse
developer may answer. :-p)
About a week ago, while on a search for shoes for Roomie, I came across the Cutest and Most Comfortable pair of Sandals in Existance. They're wesge heels, they make my fat feet look little and ladylike, they show off my pedi, but I still look good without painted toes. They're leather, and sturdy, and not so high that I wobble, but high enough to look casual chic. I've gotten compliments and at least two promises of "I'm going to get those, where did you get them?" Bonus - they were on super markdown, and from the actual prices of the other shoes I found, should have been at least twice the price.
In short - they are the Ms Ana-matronic of sandals. (Scissor Sisters, go look it up)
I'm already concerned I'm going to wear them out over the summer, and not have the super fantastic sandals for next year.
My question - is it WRONG of me to want at least one backup pair? Or more? The chain discount shoe store has several stores local to me, and all it will take is a run through of their markdowns. I've already seen several, but I obviously know the style and size (which is oddly a nine in these, rather than my usual 8. These were LIKE BUTTER when I put them on, so maybe I just need a 9 in sandals)
So, do I leave sandal-y goodness for the next poor woman, just looking to look cute in a dress? Or do I beat feet (literally) and snap up as many as I can find. They actually might go on Ebay for a profit.
