Nice and cool

in my room today. It was oppressively hot in here at one point yesterday, what with running my old computer, then shutting the window while I did a run out to Le Targay. And OH what a run! The new one in Abington is nicer than any but in Kingston, and isn't full of nasty ghetto women who make it so I can't even get out of my car, because I told them off driving their big ass Expedition (just because it's ginormous and you don't know how to drive, DOESN'T mean you can cut me off, bitches. AND I have no issue calling the cops if you decide to get out of it to threaten me. Who do you think they'll believe anyway?)

Heh - anyway, I found a few things I'm sure I didn't need, another purse, ice cream and pizza, but I got a pair of flip flops for pedicures that are cute, sparkly purple, and don't kill my feet. However, since I then came home and broke a nail, I think I'll be waiting until next weekend to do anything. Besides, now it's cold out, and I want socks. *LOL*

I hope noone seriously bitches about the cool and rainy air. It'll be oppressively hot and humid soon enough. I don't do very well in that sort of air, and nothing gets done. I hate it in the office since people are always complaining about being cold, and I'm sitting there stripped out of my over shirt, in a take top and pants, and still roasting. It has to do with the natural insulation *grins* But I'm super comfy today, and waiting breathlessly for Doctor Who to finish.

So I'm going to eat something, then straighten up my room, put away some clothes, work on the filing I was doing the other night, then get some of MY work done. I'm refusing to go to the office now, but maybe I'll run over for a while later, print out some stuff I'll need.

I'm thinking about going out tonight. I want my life back, since staying home to be responsible has FAILED spectacularly. Maybe I need a list.....

Oh - it's raining. Yay! I prefer grey and rainy, honestly.

So I just watched The Saint (the Val kilmer in various hairs version) on USA, which I believe might be the first time I've seen this particular cut.
They CHANGED the ending.
The network cut it so it ended a few minutes early, and cut out parts I think are PIVOTAL to the storyline, about understanding Simon Templar's greed. And how much this woman supposedly affected him, plus one more disguise and chase scene that were - well - NEEDED.

I mean there were some other cuts, I kinda understood, sub-sub plots that I think were weird due to the original cut, that maybe there was something more that got totally left out. But THIS?

It had a happy schmoopy ending. Which was REDONKULOUS.

GAH! GAH EVEN!

I love this movie, I think Val is super sexy in it, and they FUCKED it UP!

I'm going to kick puppies now, as the movie on NOW is The Mummy, and if they cut THIS ONE to shreds (a movie I love more than the Saint) I'll lose it.

I've been busy bustling, just picking up stuff and putting them in proper places. Interesting. I really need to try and do this every day, for an hour or so.

But for now, there's a finally finished download, and I need to put a few more things away before I can watch.

Harsh my buzz

I can't see any reason to go anywhere tonight. I WANT to, too, I want to get dressed up and go out. But I just find Nothing online that convinces me it's at all worth it to get dressed.

I need to stop filing as I need supplies, and won't be getting them until Tuesday. OSJL is closed already today, and I'll be nearby the one I like on Tuesday. Seems silly to go special, and/or continue until then. It's Fine, I'm not feeling it. Maybe I'll grab that trash bag and start tossing old stuff. I'm getting to that kind of mood.

Still need to watch episode. I was putting it off as a reward, but it's not necessary anymore I think.
