Too Much Coffee.
For those of you keeping score - I've been up all night. I'm about to pop into the shower prior to my flight. I'd like to be on the 5:30 Logan express, and am pretty much right on schedule for it.
There's a method to my madness here. I have trouble sleeping until late, it's always been my downfall on overnight flights. HOWEVER, I've never had problems sleeping in the MORNING. That means I can get on the plane, and pass out. Especially after having been up since 8:30 yesterday.
It's been good frankly. I worked all day, got my boss to give me permission to blow off a few things (rather he offered) got some stuff done, went to my client, got them all updated, went BACK to the office got a few more things done, decided NOT to do one thing and emailed the boss re: fallout, then stopped to mail stuff, then home to putter, clean, complete packing, and get some of my final client stuff done.
Honestly, I could have gone to bed an hour ago. If I can't reset my sleep patterns, I have to accept them and make demands on my hours. I'm just EFFECTIVE during hours outside of 9-5. It's creepy how productive I"ve been in the past 8 hours, compared to the 8 before. KNowing I wasn't losing sleep and didn't have to get up - that's nice.
I'm missing a rescheduled 8AM meeting. I offered to call and taunt them from the plane. I was refused. Poopers.
Whoo punchy! Well anyway. It's shower and change time. Probably won't be posting until I'm elsewhere, YIKES I need to remember to email my schedule to the parties involved. It's on my jump drive so that'll be later. M has a paper copy, so I won't be just disappearing off the face of the earth.
