Long overdue

- work trip Wednesday through Friday. Hate hate HATE 5AM Didn't get enough sleep due to excessive working. Nice bed though, and next time must have car. Nice area, was OK for eating, shopping etc, but still, stuck-o-rama.
- flight home Friday weird. Was long delays DC to Boston for every flight but mine. Excessive number of asshat people trying to get stood by for my flight, along with the pushing and shoving to get onto silver tube with wings. Freakin' weird that. Got home late and had nonsense with directions from M. Pretty much crashed.
- Got up on Saturday, met girls for Chocolate Buffet then shopping. Talked Bret and El into burgers after wearing off all the chocolate at Bartleys, and also got stuff form Lush and TeaLuxe while in Harvard Square. REALLY shouldn't have spent, but it was good. Then home for anime
- finally got the whole "sleep til I wake up" this morning. Met J for coffee/tea, then puttered. I need to get my own books in order, some things have reached up to bite me but I feel that I can indeed get the handle on them in short order. I really did a lot of sitting, and I really needed that.
Missed on some calls by leaving my cell in the car after coffee/tea, feel SUPER bad about it. *sighs* Must write emails/make calls tomorrow night.
Also, with the change of plans this weekend I missed a wedding I'd have liked to attend but I wasn't about to be all "can I go?" last minute, you know? Meh.
Anyway, expect a bit of radio silence, as I deal with everything that's waiting for me at work and the work I will need to do from the trip. Then I have visitor next weekend, and that needs to be decided on.
