Stuff I've been DYING to share

Two of the goodies I got while on Holiday!

I FINALLY got a pair of New Rocks!
Got these in London at the Pound exchange rate, instead of CHEAPER when I needed them in Germany *sighs*
They're not the ones I was lusting after, I was having serious issues with the buckles on them and my giant calves (hey halo the Same Problem I had with those boots I got from you. I still have those, I think I'm loathe to give up on them!) These have velcro, which I HATE the idea of but I have to admit, they work for me.

Plus, they have purple flames. *evil grin*

While in Germany at the Agra, I was told about the super duper shopping and finding things I'd never see again. I was actually disappointed since I didn't see MUCH, although I did see some deals (And if I were the stick figure emarkienna is I'd have bought some of it!)

But I DID stumble across a tiny little vendor, with just a table with the most AWESOME chokers! They were made out of leather, cut carefully into shapes, and then COVERED in glass beads. Black Natch! One large one with an Anhk caught my eye. I tried it on but it felt too much like a posture collar, so I reluctantly put it down. The seller, a VERY nice lady whose card I have somewhere, in a Russian accent got me to wait for a bit and she pulled out two more, smaller items.

This I'm CRAZY about!

That's the detail on the center of it. It ties with a ribbon around the neck. I'm thinking of beading a collar attachment around the ribbon so it fits tighter, the ribbon tends to loosen.

I can't WAIT til I have somewhere to wear them!

Peekchures from England/Germany

are up

They're sorted. I warn you, I took very few touristy pictures, and emarkienna was hurt by my lack of interest in taking pictures of him in "going out" gear, but there are some. I do mostly bands (OK mostly Rogue *evil grin*) but there are some scenery ones from England, most notably Wandlebury in Cambridgeshire. I'm insistent Little M take others there.

Write up to come, probably over the weekend. I think I'm taking my laptop with me to the cabin to write. Oh yeah - El's cabin this weekend. No connection but electricity. So maybe yes, the writeup should happen.
