Yeah.
so I skipped Xmortis last night (with many apologies to
pat_man_ta and
morbidiqua I wasn't about to go anywhere except bed, and CERTAINLY NOT upstart Everett) I did stop and picked up a few beading items, to finally figure out how to make the beaded spiral chain (Yes
feline I know it's easy, I just had to sit down, follow better directions than in one of my books, and use bettre beads.) I'm going to try a different tack with them, I have ideas for a necklace but need some time to work on it.
Then I got up this morning to head to client #1, where thankfully I didn't have ANY of the problems I had last time. Currently I'm at CPA#1's office, she's in Florida for a month, at their house. *sighs* I need to start looking to the future for stuff like that. I don't want to be working like a dog my whole life with only DVDs to show for it.
Oh BTW - Let me plug DeepDiscountDVD.com? I do some Anime ordering from them. After I settled down the other day about NOT finding out about InuYasha season 2, I ordered from them at a vrey reasonable price. THEN Friday I got an email from them offering 20% an order, with code. (WHICH if you want to go ahead and order, use the code SUPERSALE at the checkout.) I was PISSED. I emailed and said "hey listen, I know I can't cancel my order now, but if I'd know about your sale I'd have waited. Is there anythig I can do other than wasting your time and postage?" I got an email telling me they'd credited me 20% of the box set cost!!! JUST LIKE THAT! I'm SO pleased with them! Now if only they'd carry more of a backstock - I don't even want to get into the trouble I'm having with Amazon sellers due to one misprinted address, and the Pilot Candidate box set.
One good thing. My lunch. Well not the lunch itself, I got my usual chicken parm from my favorite place, but it wasn't as good as I remember. *sighs* however I did get a few other things. SOme soda to keep the sugar high going, some salt & vinegar chips for later.
And a Whoopie Pie the size of my head. (Ok not really but DAMN it was pretty big and homemade! A definition of whoopie pie for those who don't know is - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whoopie_pie Sorry about the crappy link. I'm shortcutting in.)
OK I need to get to work. I want t oleave at 5:30 or so, to go home and get ready to go out to Machine tonight. Whee.
