I always have time to update on the weekends

And for once, I feel great, even though today began with a big fat failure.

- Last night kanine and I took poetman and S out to dinner for J's birthday, which is today. I chose Bisuteki since I've never been there and I thought it would be something different. I loved it. I especially loved the big drinkies, of which I only had one. I also had me some SUSHI, but only a little since we were there for not-sushi dinner. Our chef was pretty cool, the food was great and S watched him cook so interestedly it was SO fun to watch! The back to J's for cake. _I_ might have to date her someday - I loves me homemade cake!

Personally I had a great time. I need to do this for people more often. It was late and we'd all been up early so it was a vaguely early night. kanine spent the night on my European couch *lol* and I passed out intending on getting up early to get to the office. (PS - Daddy smelled REALLY yummy)

- So I sleep through my alarms, but eventially get up. Pretty much hearing R get up. We chat, I shower. Teh Unit stops by for her mail on the way out to North Carolina. You read correctly. She's going on a temp assignment to check out the area, see if she likes it. I know the rest of my immediate family is pretty devastated, if only because she keeps the schedules, and now they have to do for themselves. *snerk*

- We both get going, R to her office and me into my car to drive the hour to the Cape. About 15 minutes down I realized I didn't have the keys to the office on me. *ARGH!* At that point I abandoned any thought of working today (except from home!) It would take me 15 minutes back to get the keys then another hour down, and I just thought "enough." I went to Target, bought some stuff, and raided the clearance rack for some work shirts. I pretty much came right home.

- On that ride I decided to remain fussy and productive. I called Firestone and found out the wait time on an oil change which my car desperately needs. I managed to empty the trunk out of the stuff from my storage unit that needs to be out, and hopefully I can put up on freecycle later. Dropped off my car and took the bus back home. I'll go back in 2 hours, maybe 3. In the meantime I'm going to cook some lunch and bustle around hopefully finally getting some things done.

- Tonight we head to Dark Intentions in Lowell, against my better judgement but the birthday boy has spoken. I invited my new friend Jacqui (no LJ but she's on MySpace, I gave her a ride to Haven to see the Cruxshadows, and without ManRay there's not many places for her to go out to. This way she has us to protect her, and it should be a nice intro to clubbing for her. She's a wee one. *grins*) So I need to drag out my whips, as it's a D/s theme. (I'll take some piccies for emarkienna *evil grin*)

- In penance for this, there's a VERY VERY good chance I'll be getting up at a reasonable time then driving to the office, if I can get in. I never got a key to the front door. The office yes, the door, no. If i get there early enough I can get in through another store. I Don't WANT TO go, I just want to go next Saturday but I'm going to leave the option open. I might not be able to, I have work to do that doesn't look like it's going to happen today. But we'll see how it goes.

So yeah. Active busy weekend and I feel great. Need to start purging my crap. Wheeee!

Off to get busy. I have a lot to do and a bus to catch to get my car. Yay!
