I have to go to a client off site, and I can't go til I get a call from another client to clear up some items, so I figured, what the heck, I'm gonna post! not like I DON'T have stuff I could be doing. *grins*
I did a hella lot of nothin' last night. Updated my books, flirted on IM with a cute boy *winks*, stared at the TV. That kind of thing. I bought some stuff at the market for dinner and enjoyed it considerably. It does take a lot less time to cook cous cous than it does to stir fry frozen veggies! *grins again* I also bought some salad and an heirloom tomato, which is the ONLY kind I'll ever eat. Teh Unit would have keeled over! I have some steaks marinating in Jamacian Jerk for the grill tonight, and I have no idea what to do WITH them, maybe a few veggies.
What I DID figure out is that between buying the camera, and paying off an assload of bills as early as possible, I have NO MONEY left. Like $5 in my checking. (this statement isn't entirely true, I DO have savings in Paypal.) I feel good about paying the bills. I also feel good about my projections for my next two paychecks. I DON'T feel good that I am ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED to stay close to home. There are a couple of exceptions. I have the gas card to get me out to Woostah to see C's band, and out and about on Saturday. but I REALLY need to spend more time at home, and, more importantly actually, In the storage unit. See, I'd LOVE to ditch the things this month. In fact I'm hoping I can to make my budget better looking. I realistically should pare it down to one for this month. I have to talk to M about his stuff, I have to get into the spare room and reorg THAT stuff to make room for the boxes in my unit. Teh Unit is failing miserably at getting her stuff out, and seems to think that is somehow MY fault. That SHE didn't move her stuff before it got hot. She's a complainer, I see where I get it. I, however, am determined to NOT BE THAT WAY. Someday. *grins*
Anywhoo, When I get home tonight I think I need to dig into some of the boxen in the living room. I need to get off the cushy European couch *grins* and get some stuff DONE. It's cool in the house now.
This post completely devoid of interest brought to you by my sheer relief at having NOTHINg visably hangning over my head. Even my horoscope said to take it easy, to reorg my home life to as to better enjoy my social time.
And with that, I have a work email and needs get back.
